I was unironically excited for the whole fight against the Spirit King when this first aired, Natsu Gray Lucy Erza and Gajeel 🔥🔥 It's also a nice change in pace because it's usually Wendy instead of Gajeel in place of Team Natsu (those 5). But I absolutely love Gajeel so there's that, anytime I see him working with Fairy Tail/fighting on their behalf and representing them, it makes me extremely happy. Like when he says shit like "don't underestimate Fairy Tail" to the Twin Dragons while fighting them with Natsu or like... idk I love Gajeel. Plus Levy's turned into a constellation so there's that motivation as well
