Didn't fate zero come out long before UBW? Why would ufotable want people to watch UBW first if they specifically made a prequel before it?

Don't listen to anyone who says Zero first, its a prequel and is meant to be seen after the original. Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (25 eps) followed by Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel (3 movies) then Fate/Zero (25 eps) will give you the best experience. Also Zero has MASSIVE spoilers for UBW and HF (as a prequel, its meant to be soiled by the OG anyways, so watch it last) Don't bother with the studio deen Fate/stay night, its crap, just go ahead with UBW by ufotable.

2021-12-01 14:43:23 +0000 UTCI’d recommend starting with Fate/stay night: UBW, since that’s where the story actually begins. Fate/Zero is more of a prequel to stay night. Plus Fate/Zero has a better connection to the Heaven’s Feel movies, so I’d say it’s better watching the movies after Zero. UBW->Zero->Heaven’s Feel
