August Preview Concepts

Hello everybody!

We already have the concepts of the sets that will be released in August, you had asked us for a vendor to sell the treasures we bring from our adventures and we have thought of a couple of Lenders that will come with a complete set of props.

Another of the requests that has been repeated for a long time is a group of City Guards to defend and enforce the law in our town, so we are going to make a full squad of them!

We thought that since we have guards to enforce the law we could add this month someone who wants just the opposite, so we have added a group of Assassins that are cool.

As always, your comments help us a lot and practically all the ideas for the sets we make come from your opinions, if you want any set to join the collection, the comments box is waiting for you! Thank you very much to all of you!

These continue to amaze!

Alternatively, if you want to sculpt them as a dwarf and a gnome, that would be awesome too. xD

Sam Kay

I love them! The "lenders" are great, I'm glad you stayed away from some tropes/stereotypes. If I get around to printing them, I think I might shrink one down in general to make a gnome, and the other one just along the Y axis to make him a dwarf. :D

Sam Kay

As a druid I would love an animal set for when I use wildshape !

Helz

Definitely i second that, need a female leatherworker as well.

I donl;t know who does this concept art but it reminds me of Avatar: the last airbender and I like it! Can't wait for these models as I'm alwasy in need of more guards for my parties to get arrested by :D Keep up the good work!

A little less props and two versions of the minis in the sets. As in the wizard set, maybe he is actually in the room with all his props? it would be better to have one less table and another less dramatic version of him. The book binder is stuck making books and has no time to talk. One less binder prop and a version of him selling a book? I appreciate all the props but at the same time I think two versions of certain minis in certain sets makes sense. Any chances?

Jeff Abandonato

Could there just be one guard model at attention doing his job? Would be very useful! You guys do a great job

Daniel Williams

Dwarves as well.

Heriberto

Make that eating guard fater! Something along the lines of Sgt Colon from the Discworld novels. It would work fine with the leg and bear keg ;)

Stephan Bock

I would love to see more specific tradesmans like the old nursery rhyme says the butche,r the baker, the candlestick maker. Now I know you have already done the butcher and the baker but we could use a candle stick maker and also I would like to see some non fighting local clergy you know the type that counsels the locals and marries them and christens their babies. also I know you started all this with a carnival theme but I feel this theme could be revisited. Also you don't have to stick strickly with character and eqiupment whole building could be nice to. especially ones nobody else has done.

Lisa Kellogg

Maybe a bit 'outside' of the thematic boundaries for Fantasy, but what about a few Musketeers (and may the usual Cardinal's guard)? They don't have to be straight from the history book .- a slight Fantasy touch wouldn't hurt, and make them more 'compatible' with the stuff you are producing. Great stuff, by the way, keep up the good work!

Vanedhan

I'd definitely be interested in elves 😁

Brian Verschoore

I'll second this - it may not work for the city guard but would be awesome to see a halfling assassin, half orc lender. Elves would also work.

Reavernator

So exciting. Suggestions would be too increase the variety of races in the sets and city children!

Carolyn Day

As always your concepts are full of life ! I can-t wait to print them, but if I could wish something, that could be a more « stoic » pair of cityguard ( maybe a sleeping one on his halleberd) or a saluting one, or just standing one ?). Anyhow, thank you for being so close to your community... great job !

I love the niche you work in. I enjoy creating stories with npcs that my players can visualise and bond with
