April Preview Models, LUMBERJACKS!

Hello everyone!

First of all thank you very much for commenting on the Drider post, we got a few ideas for future models!

Well, the Lumberjacks are here! The Mech is possibly our favorite model from the April release, we can't wait to see one painted.

As always thank you all for supporting our work, we hope you like the April release! If you can think of any models for future releases, the comment box is waiting for you! Thanks!

Got them just fine - I used the google link.

Anyone else having issues downloading April’s releases ? No matter which link I try they fail before it’s finished

I don't see the link to the Priest Warrior anywhere. Did I miss it?

Hey, I've joined for April, and don't see a link for this month's release. Am I missing something, or is it coming later? Thanks

Super duper excited to join for April, and last minute enough that I hope I get the March package as well. These sculpts have such amazing character and life! Do you all have a discord?

Todd you are the man. i love what you guys do at STL, it's exactly what Todd said. That's why we stick around and support the fine work they do. i could never complain

Todd I actually agree with you 100% and agree with some of the naysayers you are complaining about. Based on the preview of the guildmasters and the concept art for the carpenters and lumberjack I canceled . Just wasn't what I wanted to spend my time printing out...Which is great. In the last three months I've gone from $0 a month to almost $200/mo on patreon... I expect that to be cut back a little bit because I am seeing a ton of "Me Too" models from various studios... 1 Studio comes out with an under the sea theme and in the next 3-4 months you can almost guarantee 20 other studios will be doing their version. If it keeps up I will easily be able to eliminate about half because I will already have that theme from someone else. As I eliminate some studios I will likely pic up some like "STL" or "Great Grimoire" that are doing excellent niche concepts. The fact that they are not doing the same core fantasy rpg tropes and doing something different is fantastic. Oh and while I didn't think I wanted April's mini's, I was so impressed with the execution of the carpenters and all the assorted items and scatter, I will likely resubscribe before the end of april.

I love all the different races, very imaginative figures. I had plumbers spring to mind after seeing these - plumbing to an outhouse would be funny!

Going to take some flack for this, but seriously wish folks would appreciate the amount of time & effort that these good folks put into these sculpts only for folks to whine about there not being any “humans” - good lord, get over it. These are “FANTASY” sculpts for fantasy worlds - maybe these particular Orcs & Goblins have gone way off script from the normal “must be evil” and are trying to carve out a niche for themselves where they are embraced from all sides. Maybe we can simply respect their choices in careers & admire their industrial spirit & craftsmanship. On the other hand - these are essentially “models”, and one could make the assumption that those printing them are (or perhaps maybe some day) modelers themselves and thus would love the challenge of adapting what it given with their own vision by perhaps taking an exacto knife to an ear, or use some green stuff to sculpt a woodsman donsel cap for them - geesh!!! Ok - either beat me up, or agree with me but I had to get this off my chest. The folks at STL Miniatures have brought something completely & utterly different to my resin printing and i for one can not wait to see what they come up with next❤️

What's needed is a sawmill set. You've got the harvesters of lumber, and the craftsmen shaping wood. But reducing the trees to raw boards, the step in between, is missing.

This is great news! Know that I am very grateful for your amazing models and dedication to keeping your backers happy. Thank you 😃👍

Adam

Not for this release, but we have added the human carpenter for a future release. By the way we will make some more carpentry props to complete the set.

These look fantastic as per usual but I have to ask, Is there any chance of sliding in a human Lumberjack and Carpenter?
