Aug-devlog(3D) & video

Today (soon, a few hours later) a new 2D inflation will be posted.

And about the 3D game.

Some of you may not have tried the first demo yet, because everyone is busy, may not interested in 3D or a game in general, interested but not until it becomes at least an RPG or models & systems are more added and improved, or maybe some of you doesn't use Windows PC but I only uploaded PC version especially for Windows users. Some of you may be waiting because I haven't implemented the Xbox controller to the demo.

Still, I do recognize I disappointed some of the members as to the gameplay itself.

There are a lot to fix, but I shall pick up the most important ones I think.

1... It hasn't been an RPG yet. Let it be at least an RPG in which characters has HP and turn-based battle system (attack-damage- victory process) exists. Not like a JRPG, but more like Rogue way.

2...Inflated models were there, but not "inflating" animation was included. In fact this wasn't easy as I first thought but I'm experimenting now. In the video attached to this post, an "inflating" 3D animation is included.

3...The environment was too simple, which makes it look "uninteresting" and did not attract some of you and therefore hasn't tried yet. Let at least some grass and trees there, or a room like a dungeon or a cave.

4...More UIs are needed on the gameplay screen, because the process of changing a camera angle was complicated. It has to be more easy to understand.

5...Bursting looked not cool if you love bursting. I imagined the bursting like Megaman, but it looks like I failed. Also, bursting on/off mode should be added because some of you may like chubby images rather than bursting.

I try the above and will post the second demo this month or in the beginning of September.

If I can, I will add a new character.

Thank you for supporting me.

Thanks for trying it and your feedback. Glad to hear you felt it was good to some extent. The camera, yes I think I have to fix it too. And, I didn't notice the bug you mentioned when I posted the demo. I'll find out what was wrong, and fix it. In the next demo, everything should be a lot better.

So I tried your demo and it was pretty good. I did find the camera controls were a little unruly at times, especially when moving around. I did end up getting stuck on the edges a couple times as well before falling into the pit. All in all, it’s a good base for your game. Looking forward to what you do with it.
