2025-08-17 14:20:11 +0000 UTCI think last episode it was mentioned in a sentence or two only that Mo Caihuan's (the mortal girl and daughter of han li's first teacher doctor mo) mansion got invaded or something so she's homeless now, which is kinda sus bc Han Li left the Zhang Tie puppet aka Qu Hun there to protect it. They mention "Dao" a bit this episode, the concept of "Dao" is pretty wide and obviously inspired by real life Daoism. As I understand it, in Xianxia Fantasy, Dao is "The Path", which includes a lot of what makes a cultivator, like thoughts, behaviour, morals, enlightenment and powers. Righteous Dao and Devil Dao often come up, it's pretty self explanatory. Righteous Dao = Not always "good", but value rules, order, and moral paths, justice, harmony, and structure. Examples are the seven righteos dao sects that sent disciples into the forbidden blood ground Devil Dao = power at any cost, chaotic. Not always evil, but often use cultivation methods like sacrificing innocents or pacts with evil entities
