I'm just way too excited about this lmao It always sounds like you think han li is insanely strong... sure he's the protagonist, not actually WEAK, I just want to say that Han Li's latent talent isn't anything special and his spiritual roots are bad, and his magical tools aren't anything special either considering people were willing to sell them :D He is by far the weakest xianxia protagonist I've seen yet (compared to other protags at the same stage). his only unique advantage is the green bottle that makes plants age faster, which isn't gonna help him here :P as a fun comparison, i'm reading "I shall seal the heavens" atm, and the protagonist Meng Hao could -at the same stage of Qi condensation- : -easily beat 1 vs. 50 cultivators at the same stage -shoot a 300 meter flaming dragon as his basic fireball technique -control hundreds of flying swords (meaning he OWNED hundreds of them :D) -had an inheritance from an extinct species of dragons -had a mirror that could instantly kill demons without any need to use his own spirit power -could duplicate any item (including elixir pills, magical treasures etc.); the list goes on... this was all in book 1 and I'm at 4 rn, shit is so fucking crazy :D it's very trashy literature, but I love it.
