Chain Choke (sketch)
Added 2025-01-13 05:00:08 +0000 UTCMy friend and Underburbs co-creator TJ called me with an assignment before Christmas. His local game store up in Maine is holding some sort of Star Wars card game tournament, and he’s looking to round up some art to make prints as door prizes. I only just now got around to doing something. I knew I wanted to do something from the original trilogy, and I wanted to draw something I hadn’t done before. Leila strangling Jabba seemed like a good one. (I’m sure if I look back through enough of my old convention sketches, I’ve probably drawn Leia in this getup at least once, but not doing the whole scene.)
I think I want to do something more symmetrical. I’d like to try drawing Leia more behind Jubba, but without completely obscuring her. Would love to hear your thoughts

That's actually my favorite Star Wars scene, when I was a kid Jabba was my favorite. Later as a squeaky voiced teen Leia in the slave girl garb was my favorite, still probably one of the most iconic scenes. I still like Jabba's palace and floating barge scenes cause of all the aliens and creatures.
