The look of Maveith surprised me. To me a moment to figure out who he was supposed to be. But I liked the idea of him being in front of Eyrk. I would imagine he’s most eager and anxious to find his sister and that pose conveys it better.

The bodies being unnaturally jacked is fine since stats and all that. But them wearing clothing that looks so similar while striking the exact same pose looks uncanny AF.

2025-08-29 18:42:26 +0000 UTCThe right one looks better, but maveith should be MORE gray, it is barely visible, and just looks like Eryk is standing in the sun while Maveith is standing in the shadow. Also, the fact that the two of them are wearing the exact same amount and pieces of clothing while striking the exact same pose is pretty weird. So at least make their poses a little different, remove the bracers for one of them, and add a weapon at the other's hip.

2025-08-29 18:34:54 +0000 UTCRight looks better of the two. But I dislike the uncanny valley body-builder vibe of the covers in general. The setting makes sense, Eryk and Maveith trained topless on the ship, but in that context I'd expect to see weapons, sweat, dirt, cuts, bruises, etc. And bodies that exhibit believable natural strength rather than preternaturally sculpted muscles like they're both stuffed to the gills with Tren. My mental picture of Eyrk is less rigid, but I imagined Maveith to look like a cross between Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy and Tyson Fury.
