The Future of Quazii UI & Midnight Alpha

The truth is out — the reason I’ve been a little quieter lately is because I’ve been inside Blizzard’s closed Midnight Alpha.

📝 TL;DR from the Alpha so far

⚔️ Combat Addons → Blizzard is restricting their power in Midnight.
🎨 UI / Aesthetic Addons → 100% confirmed safe. Ion himself called this out.

That means Quazii UI will continue to exist going into Midnight. Some tweaks will be needed, sure, but my mission is the same as always: deliver the cleanest, easiest-to-install UI for every class, every expansion. We will need to learn some new skinning tools, some new addons, but more on that later.

Bottom line: QUI is here to stay.

By the time Midnight launches, Quazii UI will be fully ready for you to enjoy — whether that means adapting WeakAuras, skinning Blizzard’s default tools, or creating new solutions from scratch. I simply cannot play WoW without my UI, and many of you feel the same.

• I’ll be working full-time on Midnight Quazii UI as Alpha → Beta ramps up.

• QUI will continue to be updated for The War Within, Season 3 in the meantime.

• Expect occasional Saturday streams (~10PM EST) where we can hang out, and I’ll answer your questions live.
