Announcing the Cardboard Edison Award Today was a big day for the campaign. Not only did we release our first Patreon-supported material--the Cardboard Edison Omnibus newsletter--but we also got our first Senior Inventor patron AND hit our third milestone! That means you can expect to see our Meaningful Decisions interviews with designers much more frequently. As a Patron, you'll get to see them before anyone else. Plus, Patrons at the Apprentice level and above will be able to vote on who we interview! And now, to top it all off, we're absolutely thrilled to announce our fourth milestone: the Cardboard Edison Award! When we reach $250 a month, we'll organize an award to recognize the people and games that mean the most to designers. When we surveyed the design and publishing community a few weeks ago, this was one of the biggest vote-getters. This update is already getting pretty long, so we'll talk more about the award soon.
