Quick August Update

Hey Everyone!

I spent the last few days and actually a lot of the month working on Youtube content. I think all of you are aware that the patreon would probably not be where it is without the Youtube channel - in fact I would wager that 90% of you only are here because of it :) thank you!

I wanted to try and see if it is possible to break into the algorithm by uploading once a week and by creating a few "hype" videos - and while it brought about 40 new patrons, it didn't have a big impact on subscriber numbers on Youtube.

I did stretch myself way too thin this month and the Patreon content was lacking. I learned my lesson - from now on I will make sure that the Patreon content will come first on my to-do list and whatever time is left I will spend on Youtube, to promote our community and the Patreon-campaign.

I will take a day off tomorrow, because I was working 16 hours a day on the last video for a week straight and then on Monday go back to work on the videos that I wanted to upload during the last week. I will make sure to catch up on all the content and bring out the new content for September too. No videos will be skipped, I know my obligations to you guys, I made a mistake focusing so hard on Youtube and I will rectify it.

On a sidenote, we came pretty close to the goal of 250 Patrons, peaking at 230 this month I am super grateful for all of you being here and believing in me!
