Should I add music to the Patreon videos?
Added 2019-07-10 06:06:02 +0000 UTCThe idea came up on the discord, or rather the notion, that the video passages where I don't explain things should have some music to break the silence.
I always thought a minimalistic approach would be good here since not everyone likes the same music and sometimes people would listen to their own music while watching the videos. However I also understand why music could help and improve the viewing experience.
The music I would add would be similar to my youtube videos, so nothing overpowering and annoying (at least from my judgement).
Let me know! And feel free to write a reply if you have an oppinion on this that can't be covered by just clicking one of the options :)

I am finding the no music vids wonderful. So nice not to have distracting and annoying rubbish banging on in the background. There is always the choice for someone to listen to their own music if they need it. Very hard for those of us who don’t to remove it.

2019-07-10 12:00:44 +0000 UTCMaybe a smooth background music would be good just to make the viewer know that the video is playing. I usually paint and see your videos, but all of the sudden if I dont hear your voice, I think the video stopped because of youtube's 'Are you still watching?' message which pauses the video until you click it and continues playing the video.
