Hi guys,

Here is Book Two, Chapter Forty Four.

It's 5:00am Monday, where I am, so I do apologize for missing the Sunday deadline I promised. It's just that sometimes the story grows by itself and trying to rein it in is next to impossible. I already hit 10K words yesterday and yet, today, I finished the chapter at 12.6K words.

I finished writing close to midnight, and but the strain on my mind was such that I drifted off to sleep in the middle of editing. I only just woke up half an hour ago to finish up the process.

I know there are gifted authors out there that can churn out 5K words a day (and I can't tell you just how jealous of them I am😫), unfortunately that has never been me. I write at the more sedate pace of 1k words a day and sometimes even that is a tough goal for me.

Anyway, I write all this to give you an accounting of why I was late in delivery. Sorry for that.

All the same, I'm really happy with this chapter and I think you guys will love it.
