The idea that the things in jubilee just being for show without real understanding of how real people act in a town gave me chills. The baby in the woods just being quite literally just a baby that is scared (probably) just is a great narrative piece. Like it doesn't want to be there and just happens to be large enough to cause real damage if provoked. Going to start my rewatch now lol

I could be wrong about this but I always had this theory that when Rob saw Alice’s “shadow” in Japan, the reason that she appeared there was because their journey going left and right was always directionally diagonal. Basically my thought was that they drove to where Japan is located in the real world, starting in Arizona, and that they were just on another plane of existence so there wasn't a Pacific Ocean.
