And secondly, his ego and unwarranted self-importance, enabled by his peers and teachers at school, coupled with his connections to vast amounts of wealth, led to him being such a disconnected, easily bored and dull person that his only kink in life was the abuse of others for the sake of it. He is Britain's answer to Uday Hussein, a mentally invalid loser who can only feel anything when he is in complete control and full influence of others, especially when said control and influence involves harm and torture. Hell, I don't even think that torturing him would work, considering his lack of empathy for himself, let alone others. Almost as if these "Dark Triad" acolytes are some of the dorkiest, lamest clowns on the planet and don't deserve to be taken seriously.
