First 2 pics you already saw, but they are a festive Cerebella from Skullgirls, for the new year! [I've been wanting to draw her, she has such a fun design!]
[01-07]- Another Ivie idea, I keep wanting to draw her with happy summery vibes!
[01-08]- I don't know how it took this long but I only recently learned about "liminal spaces" and the whole "backrooms" creepypasta. My favorite has to be "The poolrooms" so I made a little sketch of a weird hallway/tunnel that leads to this empty open... space. The idea is water is running down the walls constantly. I wanted to make it weird but also pleasant? I thought to add a statue because I guess I'm linking the poolrooms with Vaporwave a bit;;; But yeah I made this while thinking it would be cool to try to recreate the scene in 3D! Maybe I can do it in the future!
[01-09]- just a funky gal!
[01-17]- more notes of this kind, about the lines that a 3D model might need and the placement, the lines would not be visible most of the time, and they would need to be colored with gradients so they are softer. Very obvious lines unintentionally age so much a character.
The weird shapes in the middle at the bottom are about the eyelashes and their shape, so they stand out when she is looking down, or when looking at her from the side [profile view].
The black and white drawing is an idea of the sculpt, and since the eyes would be 2d textures, the sculpt would also be flat.
[01-17a2, 4 and 5] [Poses] [TekkiFaces__] [tekks]- Some random Tekki poses and expressions trying out the rig! At this point I hadn't added the "animations/action constraints" to the right corner of her mouth, so you'll notice she only "frowns" or "smiles" with her left side of the mouth.
[01-25]- These gals again! Still no name, although a friend suggested "Peach" and "Mint" which would be so cute... But yeah I wanted to draw them again, and was thinking of making the pink girl more of a monster girl!

YESS!! That's exactly it!! Yeah like save points or rest stops, where it's strange but comfortable! That's exactly the feeling. Maybe that's why I prefer the poolrooms too, because it's still weird but a lot of pics and videos seem very comfortable with the warm light. Also these have actually made me remember the save/rest points from Resident Evil 4 with the merchant?? xD Especially one where I think there is a lot of water, so the sound of the water splashing as you move, along with the serene background music and feeling of being in a safe spot... yeah it's kind of similar! But yeah so happy it resonates with you too! --- [tekki things] Haha <3 Glad you liked those! I had a lot of fun while trying to make the expressions! I can't wait to see how it feels when animating, I am so nervous but also excited about animating faces! Ohh!! I saw some of the trailers for that game! It looks so good, even just from an art perspective the character designs looked so lovely and with so much variety! And the gameplay seems so interesting too.. you make me want to play it! [01-25] It's not super monster like, or any monster/creature in particular, but the pink girl was supposed to just have a human body, so I was playing with the idea of making her feet and hands be more like claws? It's super light "monster"-ish features! but still super humanoid.

Though, honestly, maybe that's a neat niche to get into. There's tons of creepy liminal spaces stuff, where it's like. "Oh, there's this place between, this weird, scary, improper place". Which, ya, cool. But what about liminal spaces that are like...save points, or rest stops, or whatever. Ya, they shouldn't exist, and maybe they're out of place, but it's a _nice_ out of place, a break from the world. That's pretty slick, to me anyway. ^_^ [01-09] - That's some good funk. >:] [Tekki things] - Ahhhhh! I love how expressive you make things, even your little tests and experiments. It's so good. Ha ha. I finally got through Potionomics a little bit ago, so I'm extra enjoying expressive models and animations. XD [01-25] - What kind of "monster" are you thinking? I can't tell just by the design. >:?
