August 2022 Compilation [Download]

While cleaning files I saw a big list for an art style challenge I wanted to do, at the time I only made 1: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26947523/
It's really fun studying a style, gathering references and trying to match it, it's an enjoyable process, and I also had this strong craving for drawing in the Skullgirls and Ojamajo Doremi styles especially! So I made these two! I hope to continue making these here and there. Next time I'll try to let you guys guess the art style, I'd like to see if it's easy to guess. But for this time, the characters are my Fantrolls Marluh [lime green] and Sinine [Jade green, dress]. The styles: Skullgirls/Hanna Barbera/Ojamajo Doremi, and Yu-Gi-Oh!/Ghibli/Pokemon.
Other than that there's some Asura sketches! [Featuring Lani and Nebbii!] and some environment?? ideas?? [A little shack in an abandoned lot, and an alleyway showing buildings connected to one another to keep "traffic" indoors]
There's one more thing I wanted to mention, I'm thinking about maybe opening a sketch commission tier in the coming months?? it's not 100% certain but... maybee at least 1 slot a month?? Once I'm more sure I'll write a proper post about it here on Patreon!

Oooh, that's interesting! I think the one I was the most unsure about being recognized is Studio Ghibli, it's really cool to know you did recognize it easily! YuGiOh was the other one at first! Because it just looks very "Anime", but with the cards it's easy to know! Aww, yeah I think the Doremi one just screams "magical girl", and without knowing the outfits [this one isn't even the most iconic, it's not the first one] It ends up being a bit of a guess "Which magical girl anime is this a reference for?" MAN.. I completely missed Daria on the list, I should add it too! <3 [Oh that is really flattering if it felt a bit like InCase, I love his work!! But I don't think I would've been so bold to try his style! Maybe it would be educational though!]

Tokyo Mew Mew? (I don't think I had a good guess for the Skullgirls one, initially I thought maybe like like InCase's comic, but it wasn't quite that)

I wouldn't say it is a requirement to know fanOCs in order to be a good fan after all! <3 But I'm happy you liked those, they were pretty fun! Thank you! Yeah I'm running a bit of a test this month and I'll see how I feel about it. I want to be really cautious too, but if I can, I'd like to offer this, even if it's only open for a few months! Even in that form, they've got a lot of feeling to them, and (at least in my brain) a bunch of different ways you could take them, depending on the vibes you wanted to give it. Like I said in the other post, the style challenge is great, I admit, I absolutely misguessed Skullgirls and Ojamajo Doremi, but I got the others! XD Always good to see the Asura sketches, even though I'm a terrible fan who still can't identify everyone on sight, thank you for always calling out who they are. >_>;; ALSO. If you do a sketch tier, I'm (obviously) 1000% down to support (if I can get there in time!), but also probably good to make sure it's not going to stress you out, or burn you out, or make that...y'know, built-in to set expectations. ALSO. I still have to reply to your other replies, and messages, which I didn't yet, because I got busy and just... :poofing motions: ...but I didn't forget, I'll try to get to that soon, because I really do want to reply!
