A Quick Descent Down the Corporate Ladder

— Let. Me. GO! You fucking chunks of dumb meat! I’m your boss! — the girl shrieked hysterically, struggling in the grip of the security guards who effortlessly held her in place, not even straining. They were following the orders of the one who was now their boss — or at least looked exactly like Richard Blake, CEO of B-Tech Industries, a company with 8,000 employees and a multibillion-dollar turnover.

One of the guards chuckled, still gripping her arm as she thrashed.

— Easy there, sweetheart. This ain’t TikTok.

— Are you fucking insane?! I’m Richard Blake! And you're so fucking dead the second I fix this shit if you don’t let go of me right now! Being fired will seem like a goddamn fairytale! — she writhed, her bright pink hair flying over her shoulders, her breasts — small, but heaving — rising and falling rapidly with each breath, while the sports bra she wore felt like an added noose, just like those humiliating tight shorts!

As they carried her out of the building, they passed a man who looked around nervously, clearly lost, like it was his first time here. The girl instantly latched onto him, seizing the moment.

— You! You fucker! YOU MOTHERFUCKER! You turned into me! And now you’re you again?! Bitch! I don’t even know your name, but I swear, you’re gonna pay for this shit — she screeched while the man — Ethan Mason, though in truth it was Jade Carter inside — averted his gaze awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. The fact that he was now a man was already strange enough, but seeing his former body — now losing its mind in tight shorts and a sports bra, struggling in the strong grip of the guards — made the whole scene feel surreal. Like it wasn’t the CEO of a multibillion-dollar company but just a pizza delivery girl who’d gone to the wrong floor.

Everything had gone exactly according to Ethan’s plan — the real Ethan, an ordinary pale and painfully quiet analyst from the third floor. He’d been shaking as he slipped into Richard Blake’s office some time ago, catching a rare moment when Blake’s secretary stepped away and he could sneak in. Dressed in a suit two sizes too big, thick lenses over his eyes, Ethan looked like he’d walked into the wrong room.

— Mr. Blake, I’m here about the Artemis project, — he’d said, trying to hide the tremble in his voice.

Richard had looked up from his tablet, gave him a once-over, then scoffed.

— Who the hell are you?

But it was already too late.

Ethan pulled a vial out of his pocket — the very same liquid he had concocted using a bizarre book from some weirdo forum where he’d bought it. It all sounded like total bullshit, but Ethan had already tested it and now he was sure of his plan. A strange substance that could do the impossible — turn any person into anyone else. The key was simple: the right contact, the right intention, the right moment.

Right at that moment, Ethan’s accomplice entered the building — now working as a courier — Jade Carter. A young woman with a wild temper and not a penny to her name, she was already in the bathroom, using the transformation substance to become Ethan — his payment for using her identity, her body, and most of all, her silence.

The switch began almost at the same time. Blake, stunned and furious, felt the world flip upside down, his clothes and body shifting…

— What the fuck?! — he shouted, but the voice was no longer his. It was high, cocky. He jumped up, and the weight of two tits under the top hit his brain harder than any words.

— Welcome to your new life, Jade, — Ethan whispered with a smirk, watching the girl stare at her hands in shock, touch her hair and her tits, while Ethan was already nearly done transforming into Richard.

He quickly called security while Blake — now a girl with pink hair — tried to piece together what the hell had just happened.

— You’re insane! — the new Jade screamed, looking at herself in the mirror. — This… this is fucked up! Turn me back!

Ethan smirked.

— What are you talking about, girl? You’re a courier who went through the wrong door and decided to throw a tantrum. And now — get the fuck out.

He raised his hand like a real boss, and the security, already rushing in at the signal, immediately latched onto the new Jade — formerly Richard Blake. She fought back, screamed, threatened, but her voice was now just the voice of some poor girl in a top and shorts, reeking of sweat and cheap lotion.

— I’LL FUCKING LOCK ALL OF YOU UP! I’LL ERASE YOU FROM THE FACE OF THE FUCKING EARTH! — she screeched as two bulky guards dragged her down the hallway, past dozens of employees whose faces twisted into smug little grins.
