Take me out? - Zoe Wallpaper
Added 2019-03-17 19:16:03 +0000 UTCHere's a little wallpaper to give you guys something while I'm still animating! This image is loosely tied to the animation progress, as I've been experimenting with a new alpha layer rendering method where I separate Zoe's fur from the rest of the environment to work around computational limitations, especially with this animation being more demanding than ever in terms of rendering resources. Zoe's fur has significantly increased in density throughout the recent animations, and things have eventually reached the point where Zoe alone can fill up the entire 8GB memory budget of my current graphics card, which is due to the expensive character lighting I'm using on her model. To avoid crashing the graphics driver I'm further splitting up the rendering layers, which at the same time allows for her fur to rock almost twice the density of previous films! Yay, optimizations! :D
New playblast will be posted around the end of the month! Will have to travel for a couple days in early April, but I'll bring a fairly competent laptop with me to stay on schedule. Currently animating the last third of the film, which includes quite a few nommy scenes! Thank you guys so much for your patience and sticking with me through this elaborate process, I want to make sure to give you something you can treasure for quite a while! ;w;
