Giant, evil, villain - Playblast

At last, there's lighting! I wouldn't say it's final just yet, but it should certainly be enough to get the point across! Now I only have to make sure I don't completely spoil the entire animation with these playblasts. To prevent doing so I'll try to reduce them to maybe once a month, which I hope is still enough to keep you guys updated!
Despite already getting close to the 1-minute mark, there's still a long way to go with this, as we're just moving to the more teasy things! I'm still working hard to get everything done in a reasonable time frame and cancelled an upcoming trip to have a little more time to focus on this. This might be the most elaborate animation I'm doing yet, and I want to make sure it ends up being everything you hope for! <3
And since there's light now, here's an updated version of a recent playblast as well!

Probably still 2 - 3 months away, as this animation is significantly more elaborate than all the previous ones, both in runtime, and especially in animation "density"!

2019-02-19 07:18:20 +0000 UTCGood question! My main job comes with a lot of responsibilities, especially since I partially own the company I work with. Means even if Patreon would end up going even higher I'd have a hard time making it my main occupation, as I'd end up abandoning both my passion and a lot of people. There's various reasons for me to keep doing it whatsoever, even if the two job work schedule isn't doing my health any favors. For once it keeps all of my Maya skills in check, as creating these animations always takes me through the same production pipeline as an animated short film in the medium budget range does. Apart from that it really makes me able to support my family a little better, not that they're dependent on me, but I'm at least able to give them a hand through tough times! (:

But you seriously have done an amazing job with this! I can't wait to see the whole thing once its done!

And honestly, I'm glad. ♥ While you deserve plenty fun in between animations, do easy things, you often times love to push the envelope, and this, I think, is why people love your works.
