Life on the top deck!
Added 2025-11-08 02:36:19 +0000 UTCSo! It's been a bit of a quiet week from my end because I've been putting a lot of work into concepting this set, as well as fixing some technical issues. Let's address the elephant in the room first; Mari doesn't have a cock. What happened?
Fear not, she'll have all her usual anatomy by the time I start producing set renders. But there was a weird error with her body that I couldn't resolve that created incredible amounts of input lag, which would obviously aggravate set production. If I'm constantly annoyed at technical issues while trying to set up poses, I can't produce a good set, so I basically migrated Mari over to a brand new body.
Nothing has changed about her looks! But everything works swimmingly now, so problem solved. Just need to put her dong back into place as the final thing.
Then of course I had to dress the set up a bit. So I've been trying out different iterations but eventually settled on a massage table in the summer sun. I also tweaked the entire lighting setup, put some additional walls in place to tie it together with the wedding stage on the lower deck, and tested a few different times of day.
What do you guys like? Dusk? Noon? Afternoon? There's a variant for each. I'm thinking another cool idea might be to have the whole set take place not simultaneously with the previous set downstairs, but slightly later, so that I can show a setting sun and some variety throughout the scene.
Another fun thing is a hot tub on the far side. I think a cool way to show set progress might be to start one one side and end on the other? In that case, hot tub first or massage table first? I'm thinking the latter.
