Feedback poll for the entire ONS/ACE series!

Alright, after half a year of rendering the largest set I've ever rendered, it's time to reflect a little bit. As you guys may be aware, before taking on ONS, I always did smaller sets with a wider variety of content. I've noticed the constant output of renders in the same scene grating on some of you guys, so I wanted to collect more general feedback.

One of the discussion points has been story vs non-story material. Obviously ONS was entirely absent of story, and prior to ONS I had been neglecting storylines for a while already. I would like you guys to vote as you please in the poll below, and if possible in the comments elaborate a little bit more on the following:

If the length of this set and the time it took to make did not work for you, do you think it would work if the set had been more story-oriented, or would you wanna see a higher diversity of content regardless?

I'm looking forward to some strong and opinionated feedback on this haha. I honestly am of two minds about the time it took to make ONS myself. On the one hand I loved rendering in this scene and I think the shots came out looking amazing, but on the other I can totally see if some people thought it was just too much. Across both sets, it amounts to a total of 260 renders and that's more than I've ever done in a single scene.

Comments

It's marvelous work. However, while I have the classic G4E content, I just don't have the same affinity for Sayako as for the ladies of the "Dude-iverse" - so over 250 renders is more than enough mileage out of the cross-over. And variety is great - settings, scenarios, different ladies encountering each other. The story helps propel that variation. While I have no complaint on the pace of production (I'm one of the 4% with the least-answered third response in the poll), I hope moving forward to see some more variety of sets of smaller size. It's not a linear trade off, some time has to go into set design, lighting, costumes & props, etc., that's understood - like 3 sets of 80 from different scenes probably takes longer than 1 set of 240 from a single scene, aand certainly 6 scenes of 40 would take even longer and also maybe feel too short. Still, there's epic stuff in this marathon encounter. Just time for a change to some variety with less overwhelming render numbers. Hope the rest of your 2023 goes more smoothly than your last couple of years! On an weirdly unrelated topic - idea inspired by a favorite video - dark rave setting, lots of black-light & fluorescent color lighting effects in terms of outfits, props, body accessories... even crazy colored glowy jizz in the climax (OK that was not in the video I saw lol)... definitely a wild variation from the classic glam of your universe, but could be an fun twist!

Thank you for this comment! And yes what you describe regarding motion is exactly how I weigh my decisions as well. I could do motion but it'd be fewer sex shots. It's also a lot of work to pose for motion and only get one render out of it. I used to do it a lot more back when I made sets that were 50-60 renders long, and I was always annoyed that sometimes I'd be like 35 renders in and there wasn't as much sex as I'd have liked. At the same time motion does convey progression. I do sometimes rely too much on squeezing another render out of the same pose, for the sake of convenience. That can make a set feel static. As regards the point of men - I'm more than happy to put this up to another poll. My only idea with men was that if I'm gonna do a story that's based on housewives getting into lesbian affairs, showing -who- they are cheating on helps a great amount when it comes to a convincing narrative. If they're only ever just names mentioned, I worry it'd have less effect. That said I totally get the objections people have to this. And I'm not married to the idea of HAVING to include them. I just personally leaned towards doing so and quite frankly didn't expect as fierce a pushback as I got. So that's something I have to take into consideration also. I'm not an artist who leans heavily one way or the other on the "I make art for me/I make art for the audience" spectrum. We can have this be a back-and-forth between you guys and myself and see where we end up settling. And thanks for the well wishes!

The idea of ACE is that it happens after Sayako and Kayla were done with each other in ONS and went upstairs to take a shower. And yes, I loved rendering that anal sequence very much haha.

I found the comments by The Great Cornholio very interesting but I want to pick up on one point in particular. I like the fact that these images are effectively snapshots of a sequence of events. I am not particularly concerned about motion being implied, the transition from one picture to the next is sufficient. Otherwise you would need to render a great many more images to fully convey such motion, especially in a very physical activity such as sex! If I want to see motion, then I will watch an animation or a live action video. However, what I have taken to doing with live action porn is extracting screenshots of the scenes I like & then compiling a set from these of the best moments, best poses, best expressions, etc. I often find that I see things that I miss in the video versions. That is not to say I do not like watching video porn but I find it is nice to be able to linger over a set of images that show a particularly good sequence. This may be my particular fetish but this is what I find so good about viewing a set such as yours, you can pause as long as you like over a particular image which I also feel lends a certain anticipation to whatever is coming next. So please keep doing what you are doing, I really enjoyed the ONS/ACE sets but, although Sayako is hot, on balance I prefer your own creations. I must also say that your characters absolutely do not look like statues being moved around (although from a digital perspective, I guess that is exactly what they are!), they are vibrant and sexy, they exude glamour and passion. Since I am here, just a couple of other things. I do trust your judgment but I also share the trepidation voiced by others about the inclusion of men, I just don't want to see them anywhere in your gorgeous universe. More positively, I really, really enjoy the comic versions that you do. I agree it wasn't particularly necessary in the ONS/ACE set but generally I like the extra context it gives, the story building and the descriptions all add to the overall heat of the piece. I think this is another of your skills, the writing is very well done. It is also good that you provide both text and textless versions so that we have a choice of how to view them. I sympathise with your covid issues. I have had similar problems, and I wish you a rapid return to good health.

I think this set is totally awesome lets get that out their any of my criticisms are minor ones because what you do and put out is fabulous tbh, not only art but highly erotic a much bigger turn on than mainstream porn tbh. However, this sets time it took ended up with some confusion on my part, I wasnt sure what was ONS and ACE and the Brianna thing coming in confused me , altho I loved the anal action in that one.....I'm a big anal fan haha, stretched out arseholes are lush. Someone has mentioned maybe depicting movement a little more depicting penetration movement. I think the question of depicting story you do very well without words, you tell the story in pictures excellently, if you feel however you want to explore that avenue then go for it, you could always release future work in 2 parts, with text for the story and without for the sheer artwork of the picture. Facial expression is important, seeing your girls faces showing sexual ecstacy and pleasure is a must......that and a stretched out arse and lots and lots of spunk.

Don't feel bad! We all need a kick in the nuts sometime and my logic is always that if one person is talking about something, there's 10 others who aren't saying anything that are happy the one person spoke up. So it made me decide it was smart to poll after the reception of this set, especially given the amount of time it took to make. Also, I'm not someone who likes to give excuses as to why things haven't turned out the way they did. Doesn't mean I never give any, it just means I hate it when I have to :P There's nothing that annoys me more than having to make a post here going "guys I've hit a rough patch IRL/I'm sick/you're gonna have to wait longer". I feel like my problems should not be your problems. So it's not so much that I think you begrudge me anything, it's more that I think "I could explain my situation better but I don't wanna sound like a whiner" lol. That said the reality is that the last two/three years have been rough on me due to RL circumstances. And yeah even though my renders have gotten nicer looking, a lot of what you mention makes me go "well, he's not wrong." I've been cutting corners because sometimes the mental drain of what's going on IRL is keeping me from focusing on my work. Not that I want you to think I'm in a disastrous situation or anything. Nothing apocalyptic has happened. But you know, life. There's ups and downs. When I started this career I was in a big up. I'm sure another one will come by before long :) I will definitely keep in mind what you've said. They've been points that have annoyed me also, but since no one was complaining I just figured no one was noticing. Obviously I should hold my audience in higher esteem than that ;) This was a really constructive post. I'm glad you wrote it. Consider everything in there duly noted.

TheDude3DX

Now I kinda feel bad I complained it took too long :)). I don't want you to think I begrudge the time you took off when you were sick, or wanting to flex your artistic muscles, but these two series were too long imo, especially time-wise, but content wise as well to a lesser degree. Even if these image sets are not 'stories' with dialogue and though bubbles, they do tell a tale, otherwise they would just be a collection of unrelated images. In this regard ONS was especially grating. At a certain point it just seemed to meander and go back and forth to the same thing again. It felt like you were treading water and couldn't decide on a climax (story wise). ACE actually came together a whole lot better in this regard imo, and seemed to flow better. Another thing that aggravated me is that in these 250+ images there were very few instances where we could see 'movement'. Take for example ACE 58-66. We see Sayako start to put her dick in Breanna aaaand .... that's it. There is no sequence of shots showing that Sayako is actually pumping into Breanna. Not a single shot of her half inside Breanna to show any movement. All we see is Sayako glued to Breanna's ass while Kayla moves around. I wouldn't want to generalize, but I feel this is something you are lacking overall. Setups that could become great by showing a few more in-between, movement shots, are instead sometimes too full of images that make me feel the characters just look like statues that have been moved around. Maybe this is what you want to go for, but for me it's sad when I see these sets (especially these gigantic sets) be more like a collection of 'still life' poses. There is also the issue of this being a collaboration with Miro. Sayako is the original classic futa, and I really like her, but she doesn't fit 100% with your style and characters and as others have pointed out this could be seen with her expressions. The extra problem here is that she's one of Miro's characters, an 'artist' that hasn't created much lately and is, arguably, an unmitigated liar. Now I love Miro's art. I have been supporting him for almost a decade now. But it doesn't sit well for me to see your content being used to pad out his patreon while he lies and hasn't released anything worthwhile for the last 2 years almost. Looking forward to new stuff from you.

TheGreatCornholio

Yeah! I agree. Sayako's facial controls were really limited because of her custom geo. As a result I wasn't able to do as much with her expressions as I'd have liked. But I probably ignored Kayla a bit as a consequence. I think expression wise, Breanna was alright in ACE?

TheDude3DX

One thing I have missed is eyes. Both the girls have very expressive faces capable of the odd close up render but they have not been in your work for a while. Don't need bunches but a closeup with even some humor would rock. Teeth biting cock and ass a plus. Bodies tell their own story. There was lots of unspoken dialogue in this set.

Jack Pinder

I'm torn between 1 and 3. But most of all I want more story, so that's all i really missed. I love the text and dialogue in scenes, not just images.

Grayve

As an overall set I liked ONS but I’d like to see a pivot back to the Lust unleashed universe with more smaller sets focused on your plot lines Miro is using your talent with Sayako as a clever diversion from his own lack of output Get back to what you do best Looking forward to seeing your next new project
