Slushe actually generates a lot of traffic for me also but I have 12.3k Twitter followers and before this the only platform that matched that was Tumblr pre-Yahoo ownership, where I accrued over 50k followers.
I may have my own thoughts about Musk's takeover of Twitter, but in terms of what's good for me financially I gotta follow the money. I do expect porn to get banned eventually, as an olive branch to shareholders (the Saudi family is going to be the #2 shareholder soon), but while it's not banned yet I have no reason to leave.
My take has always been that if Twitter is where the traffic is, I'm going to stay there. For now it's the only big mainstream platform where I can even post NSFW stuff, anyway.
So what I wanna know is, what are your future plans regarding twitter? This helps me inform my own future decision making as well.

Pretty sure he unbanned Trump's account already, saw it someone quoted it the other day on twitter. - nvm he still do be banned, that do be good. But its probably a matter of time before it happens anyway.

Everything Musk is doing or signalling he will do is already freaking advertisers out, and twitter is planning to increase subscription costs to compensate. It seems less likely than ever that porn will be banned to appease advertisers

2022-10-31 20:39:16 +0000 UTCThe main reason I presume porn will be banned at some point in the future is that this has historically been a good way to keep advertisers or other financially interested parties happy. Yahoo did it when they acquired Tumblr, OnlyFans almost did it but managed to figure out a solution. If Twitter starts bleeding advertisers as a result of certain decisions made by the new Twitter leadership, an easy olive branch to offer is the banning of porn. That said, this is just me planning ahead. For all we know that never happens and I'm worrying about nothing. But regardless, I wanted to know where my audience stands on twitter.

I have no news about porn being banned on Twitter in the future (I always thought Musk is for free speech and all this) If that happens I maybe will continue using Twitter, or maybe not. It depends on what kind of state Twitter will be in. But I'll follow your profile and your work anywhere you see fit.

But I avoid Twitter specifically because I don't want to mix fucking politics with my porn. Please continue to keep the two separate.
