Including post denoising, it came out in 39 minutes at 5k iterations, which I think is great! Sorry for the tech babble, I realise it might not mean anything to many of you guys :D
But yeah, I posted this one up on Tumblr as a preview of the Tati interviews that are coming up. I didn't want to go the same old black/white lingerie route, and I definitely didn't want to do pink, so I actually went for a very subdued tone here. What I hope to do with this interview is lay out some story leads that will help you guys tie the events of Glam Noir and Pristine together in the narrative. I enjoy letting the audience do the work, since I think that's what the fun of following a story is all about.
Anyway this shot will not be used in the final 5 interview pages, but it does give you a good idea of theme and scene. I hope you guys like it!

2018-12-14 02:14:33 +0000 UTCSo colours are a tricky thing. The reason Yelena's outfit in Queen worked so well is because I purposefully contrasted her to her surroundings. The entire environment is white, with a dash of blue in the pool in front of her to kind of lead into the colour she's wearing, which occupies a more extreme end of that part of the spectrum. I know that probably sounds really pretentious haha. But I compose all my renders with a really strong attention to colour that I also think I've gotten better at over the years. So if I have a girl red lingerie then she needs to be in a black environment, since red and white evokes either christmas or hospital feelings. So think black marble, a nighttime setting, things like that could work. If she's going to wear green, then I would probably make it fluorescent and create a really vivid environment for her where other girls wear colours that pair well. Honestly I could do a whole post about this alone. Point is that outfit choice makes demands of the scene itself. I've actually never done tan lingerie before but with Tatiana I'm trying to evoke a sort of 70's stage design vibe and tan lingerie fits perfectly.

Yelena looked Awesome in the purple for Queen and Kayla in the yellow. What would the girls look like in some different colors? Red, shades of blue, etc.
