We currently have a DinSync RE-303 in our studio so we made a Cheat Sheet for it :) It is of course very similar to that of the TD-3 (which we also updated today), but there are enough differences that warrant a separate Cheat Sheet. If you're interested here's an overview of their key differences regarding features and operation:
While reviewing note pitches the TD-3 can replace pitches and also wedge new ones into the list, while the RE-303 can only replace them.
The TD-3 can copy, paste and randomize patterns, this is not possible on the RE-303.
On the TD-3 there is no way to return to regular sixteenths after you switch the pattern to 1/8 triplets, on the RE-303 you can at least salvage the pitch queue by changing the pattern length to 16.
The RE-303 can't show which bar is marked as D.C. because it uses the button combo FUNCTION + CLEAR to enter the settings menu instead.
On the RE-303 you can only create chains out of patterns 1-4 or 5-8 while the TD-3 lets you create chains out of patterns 1-8.
Note: This Cheat Sheet is based on the current 2024 version of the RE-303 which is equipped with a "Pixie Powered RE-CPU".
We hope this will be useful to you. If anything should be unclear, if you find an error or you feel like something is missing just drop us a line - either here in the comments or via PM. Click here to see a list of all Captain Pikant Cheat Sheets.
