Surprise: A video about the Digitakt 2

Now that the Digitakt 2 has officially launched we can finally talk about our new video 😅 Elektron asked us a while ago if we would like to test drive their new machine. And since the original Digitakt was a staple in many of our videos and we like it very much, we of course said yes :) This video is not a complete review, but rather a field report with our findings as long time users of the original.
We also used the opportunity to talk about some Elektron sequencer features that are essential for drum programming. These don't only apply to the Digitakt 2, so be sure to watch that middle part for some tips and tricks that go well with the Drum Machine 101 Book :)
On top of all that we created a brand new Cheat Sheet for the Digitakt 2 which you can already download and use to check out all the new features. If you have any questions about the DT2 let us know in the video comments and we'll try to answer them :)

Hi Cadien, we just tested this for you: The MIDI THRU port mirrored everything we sent into the MIDI IN. For testing we sent CC01 Modwheel, CC02 Breath and CC16 for good measure :)

I'm curious if you'd be able to verify something for me as I haven't been able to find any info online yet — has there been any update to the Midi Thru functionality on Digitakt 2? On the mk1, it isn't able to pass anything except note, velocity, and length, which limits using it as a way to pass a master keybed to other synths. I'm hoping that there's been an improvement here, although I don't have my hopes up since support threads about this limitation have never been acknowledged.
