New Order - True Faith (Drum Pattern No. 113)
Added 2024-02-06 20:20:04 +0000 UTCThis is my drum pattern transcription in the style of "New Order - True Faith". This was the winner of our last drum pattern poll.
I transcribed the first 11 bars which are chock-full of variations. Using these you should be able to fake your way through the entire song ;) The Closed and Open Hat are augmented by an additional second Open Hat or short Cymbal, which makes the track so expressive. If you have parameter locks on your machine then you could also substitute the second Open Hat by adding highs and more decay.
If any of you have an idea what drum machines or samplers New Order used for this track let us know. I couldn't find any exact matches in my sample collection, so I put the sound example together using a wild mix of different machines ;)

Hi Max, many of the patterns live inside the pattern memory of our various drum machines and sequencers, so we don't automatically have MIDI files for all of them :)
