Hi Quim, we use the arrows for different things in the transcriptions, but in 003 it says in the notes below the pattern "The Kick drum is pitched and plays the bassline", so in that case the arrows indicate the pitch :)

Pattern 003 has BD with arrows up & down, a symbol that is missing in this guide. I guess it's related to velocity, which is covered by the darkness of the step. Maybe just remove the arrows in the patterns? Or add them in the guide. :) EDIT: ah, no, it's probably related to the pitch because it's a long BD.
