Monday transparency report

Hey guys. Firstly I need to apologise for not finishing my writing task on Wednesday like I said I would. I was sure it was enough time.
I'm struggling with something I often struggle with, how to make the sex scene as hot as the lead-up to it. Various things I thought would work haven't, and the whole thing feels hokey and meh to me. I've been desperate to get this stage finished, so I'm demoralised and disappointed with myself.
I packaged up what I had anyway and sent it to alpha testers today. Hopefully their feedback and perspectives will help to solve the problem. (Some early comments have already been insightful.)
Tomorrow I'm gonna reflect on their advice and figure out what to do, I'm too tired and negative to figure it out tonight. I wanted so much to delay this report until I had something positive to report, but SuperMaxo and Bulb's comments on Discord encouraged me to put this out. Sorry for yet another writing delay. 🦀 💔

2025-09-16 11:20:37 +0000 UTCWell, I don’t believe you anymore. For more than three years there has been no real proof of progress - only your words. You tell us every week about what you claim to be working on, you say you hired an artist, you show us some pictures you say she made, and you even mention beta testers - but not one of them ever shows up here, not even when people post critical comments. To me, this looks like nothing but excuses and stories. Maybe I’m wrong, but from where I stand it feels like we’ve been paying you over $4000 a month for absolutely nothing. This is not a charity - I expect something in return for my money. And frankly, it makes me furious to think I’ve been throwing money at a lazy asshole for more than three years. I will wait one more month. By then, I want proof that this game actually exists and that something real has been done in all this time. I don’t care if it’s buggy or incomplete - I just need to see that it’s real. If I don’t get that proof, I will stop paying, and I hope many other patrons will do the same.

2025-09-16 05:52:33 +0000 UTCI understand perfectionism. It's something I struggle with myself. But at some point you just have to settle with good enough and be happy with it. It's been too long since we have had a new version to play and it's getting really frustrating waiting for it. There's always going to be something that you think could be better. That can't be the argument anymore.
