[Ep 1.16 “Girls Night Out”] All 3 final scenes drafted in engine!

Hey guys!  This week I got the final three scenes drafted in the game engine.

On Monday I struggled with sex scene 2: it felt like the characters were having sex because the script told them to, not because they actually would.  But I was able to fix this by changing the location of the scene.

Sex scene 3 didn't work without going back and making changes to story scene 6 (which sets it up).  Once I'd made those changes, everything came together excitingly fast; in fact "sex scene 3" now has three different variants, each one hot in its own way.

Now we polish
This episode is now technically playable, but the experience is still very rough, with lots of placeholder text and no new avatar art implemented yet.

Our illustrator lovely Victoria is working on some beautiful and sexy new clothes (and another really cool little user-suggested feature that we'll talk more about Soon™).

Starting tomorrow I'll get to work on cleaning up placeholder text, tightening dialogue and description, and adding the little sensual details that actually bring the scenes alive.  (It's one thing to say the heroine goes upstairs in the club for the first time, it's another to actually describe her feelings as she's climbing up that narrow wooden staircase carefully in high heels.)

I don't have an estimate yet on how long this final stage will take; you should get a feel for this based on how fast the little yellow dots turn green on the progress chart.

After episode 1.16
This episode sets up three new optional side quests.  Each one will take the heroine to a new location in Bangkok, where she can interact with (and optionally have sexy encounters with) different NPCs, before returning to the main quest.

These are intended to demonstrate how the "open world" phase of the game will work.  They should be faster to develop than the previous few episodes – my plan is to release them individually as mini-episodes 1.17, 1.18 and 1.19.  So ideally you should get three quick mini-episodes in the months following the release of episode 1.16.
