Unstuck

Hey guys! Apologies for the lack of reports. I've been really struggling with the bed scene; some kind of writer's block, I think. π
On Sunday, feeling totally frustrated, I decided to just switch over to writing a different scene. Doing that for a few hours recharged my mojo, and gave me the insight I needed to figure out what was wrong with the bed scene (basically: overwriting).
I've now had two GRETA WRITING DAYS on the bed scene (today and yesterday), and it's nearly finished. Expect version 1.6.3 of Female Agent this week.
We've also added the following minor features over the last few days:
- Avatar beauty marks. Your agent can now have a beauty mark. (There are six options, modelled on Blake Lively, Elizabeth Taylor, Kate Upton, Madonna, Sophia Loren and Virna Lisi)
- Regional school uniforms. Your agent's school uniform now varies based on her nationality.

- Nickname/knownas. Your agent can now go by a shortened version of her name in most social situations. (I know this sounds like the most pointless feature ever, but with my test agent Charlotte it was surprisingly humanising to hear NPCs calling her "Charlie".)
Last week, Operators+ got a preview of a new feature we're experimenting with: NPC avatars. The first planned use of this feature is to show you the other contestants in the Miss Wet T-Shirt contest!
More on this (and some other cool things, like the potential involvement of a AAA video game writer and journalist) very soon β sorry for the light update, just wanted to report on activity while you're waiting for results.
I'm really not into the "Greta" puns. Puns in general are cool, but it feels creepy bringing up an underage girl when you're writing porn. Especially when you put up that picture with the first one. I really hope this won't become a running joke.

At this point, I think a lot of us would be quite happy with "Dude penis Kate vagina, both enjoy, Dude yoink, Kate disappoint, Dude spooge Kate tits, Dude happy, Kate yuck, Dude pay, Kate pretend smile good, Dude leave," as long as we get it and it works and we can go nude sunbathing and shopping and eat fried crickets from a pushcart barbecue and drink 333 beer and dance and get drunk and wake up naked and sore, having been gang-banged and bukkaked in our sleep and work in the HCC and track down and shank the bastard that dared to give our favourite colleague a black eye, even if that whole scene is just: "THUNK! Gotcha."

I can get that the framework may be a difficult task. But, as far as I can see the framework is done.
IΒ΄m not the game developer, but as a writer I can give some pointers.
1) Approach the game from the story perspective as a primary driving force, would be the easiest way to go about it. Give it some character development while undercover. (ex. will she complete a task, for herself country, or the drug lord?) - Character dilemmas are what makes them interesting and gives them growth.
2) Action, will give you a chance to showcase the attributes.
3) The sex scenes in the end should be used as a rewarding form of a carrot.
You have a goldmine of possibilities here. Imagination is the only limit. :-)

I agree Enrico. I don't want to tell him what to do to solve the problem, but maybe he should outsource the writing for the sex scenes and focus on writing the plot etc himself? I mean, the writing for a sex scene isn't unique, but the theme requires more of a personal touch so the game follows the director's/game designer's (Crush) vision. I personally started to follow this Patreon for the idea and the setting when the sex scenes were basically non-existant, so I'd think that the director needs to focus on that.

Guys, let's face reality: the framework has been there for quite a long time, and we're at a point where it takes months to write a *fraction* of *one scene* that was already designed (!?). I love Crush and his work but this isn't acceptable. Taking one month for the whole scene wouldn't be acceptable. He has to find a way to speed up content production, of course without dumbing down anything: he has enough support to do it, and if it's not technically possible then we've a problem :)

I think you're right there, Breadloaf. I think Crushstation is really concerned with making the sex scenes perfect, since this is an adult game and sexual content would be the main draw for people to play it. Hopefully once he jumps this last hurdle we'll see new content come out faster, even if it's not explicitly sexual.

It seems to me like he wrote all story elements (the mission briefings and the LIONESS scenarios) in a much shorter timespan. Maybe he has a hard time writing smut. I dunno.

I tend to agree, even if I love the game and love the concept.

Crush, hopefully I don't come across like a bratty and entitled patron, because I really do appreciate you as a developer for your transparency and communication, but I am getting quite worried with the pace you're writing this scene. I know you had to change how the engine works and I realised that this would take a while since it's the first example--you have to iron the kinks out obviously--but it's been months since you first started writing it, and I'm concerned that other sex scenes will take a long time to finish too.
I hope I'm proven wrong, of course, because I love what you and the team have accomplished so far and I'm excited to see where the project will go. But this rate of development doesn't look okay to me. Maybe scenes can be "good-enough" for now, and get a little facelift later if you choose.
I hope these words don't discourage you or stress you out, but I really do think things need to change.

Stephanie Scott's not wearing a dress in that "uniforms" pictures.
She's standing behind a cardboard cutout of a dress with a plaid pattern on it.
Patterns compress laterally when the material curves away from the viewer.
Do a Google Shopping search for "chequered dress" or go straight to SHEIN's "Check Cami Bodycon Dress," "Contrast Collar and Cuff Plaid Bodycon Dress" and "Plaid Print Raglan Sleeve Button Detail Tweed Dress." for some good examples with annoying popups.

Hey Crush, please don't get me wrong. I really appreciate your hard, precise and consistent work on the "tutorial". A solid base is fundamental for a great game which you are definitely developing but please don't get stuck in the basics, resp. don't lose yourself in unnecessary details. I can only speak for myself but I really would like to see some new and real content, "talking about Thailand". I'm following and supporting you (mostly just a sleazy 1 USD guy) for several months now. Even if the basics aren't perfect yet, you should try to start to release the "real story".

It seems like you are writing non-explicit scenes much faster than explicit. I'm looking forward to the 1.6.3 and what's in store for 1.7, anyhow.

will the 1.6.3 be a prefix to 1.7 or is it still more to come? Keep rocking
