Patreon sales tax news
Added 2020-05-28 18:54:29 +0000 UTCHey guys! Patreon are legally required to start charging a sales tax on some pledges, starting July 1st 2020.
The good news is that these tax increases don't seem applicable to your Female Agent pledge. I've submitted our info to Patreon for review and will let you know if anything changes, but for now I don't expect anybody's pledge to attract sales tax.
Okay! Now I've finished my work filling in forms for the government, I can get back to working on Female Agent. Update coming soon!

It's American sales tax. Online storefronts are now required to collect sales tax based on the buyer's location, so there's something like 20,000+ jurisdictions of sales tax to collect for now.
