The rituals are complete and our image server has returned from the grave. It is protected by strange new magicks (i.e. Cloudflare – whatever the fuck that is) and I am assured that it will never fail again.

Our service provider apologised to me for how long it took them to resolve – there was apparently some kind of technical problem related to the restoration of the DNS records after the DDOS attack, which took them more time than expected to identify and fix. I pass their apologies to you.

Something that struck me about this whole affair is how much impact the avatar has on the game experience.

I'm going to send a lovely message to our illustrator Victoria to let her know how important her work is to our game: if you have any feedback you'd like to pass on, tell me in a comment or a DM and I'll make sure she sees it.

What else is going on
As a team we're working on some exciting new ways to make it faster and easier to get content into the game. More on this soon.

We're planning a 1.6 public release on Friday. I'm trying to complete the "bed" branch of the sex scene so it's ready for that version.

We're also making progress on the subsequent version – 1.7 (which will cover the heroine's arrival in Bangkok). Again, more on that soon.

Okay, that's it for today! Having the images back online is an enormous relief – I'm sorry we were down for so long, and we've invested in better tech as a response. Next update soon.
