Now all the avatar art has been created, it needs to be implemented into the game before 1.5 can be released. I'll report at the end of each dev day on what was achieved.
I worked today on implementing all the different facial expressions the game now has.
The last version needed 33 art files to support the avatar's facial expressions. 1.5 has customisable eyebrow and mouth shapes (and more hair colours), so 138 art files are now required to do the same thing (because every mouth shape has its own unique smile, smirk, pout, etc.)
I implemented all the required assets and code today, so this boring task is complete – any agent you create can now smirk and pout her way through the whole game.
I have meetings at my real job tomorrow, so the next dev day is Wednesday. See you then!
