Wardrobe Malfunction day 1
Added 2019-05-08 19:46:29 +0000 UTCThe Wardrobe Malfunction is a special project. We're concentrating on uploading HD avatar clothes into the game, which takes longer than we thought it would and is required before we can release the next version.
Progress is going to be slowest at the start of the Wardrobe Malfunction. This is because I'm working on old outfits that were made to fit the old avatars, so they take the longest to edit.
Today I finished the Valedictorian Robe and the High School Cheerleader outfits.
I hate art production, it's so boring, but the avatar is going to look amazing when we're done. The new HD system lets us create fine details that would have just looked blurry or blocky in previous versions (like the team logo and the shiny, nude-coloured pantyhose in the cheerleader uniform). This will give us the flexibility to create all kinds of clothing items and materials for your agent in Bangkok.

Victoria's fully tasked, so I'm doing the reprocessing stuff personally. I have tried outsourcing this to a couple of freelancers, but did not get good work back in either case – not enough attention to detail IMO. I'm still looking.

And there are still two key developments to go (much more important than Barbie gira la moda here, if you ask me): the sex engine upgrade and the npc generator/characterization

2019-05-08 20:37:27 +0000 UTCI'm glad you guys are doing this. I'd argue that character creation is the most important part of an RPG. Like you can have an RPG with the most amazing core mechanics ever, but you just won't feel connected to the game if you're not connected to your character and invested into your character.
