Last year, our illustrator Victoria noticed that the head, neck, shoulders and breasts of the avatar (which she inherited) weren't centred. She created a new avatar to fix the problem, but we weren't able to implement it without redrawing every single avatar asset in the game.
We're hitting it now as part of the avatar upgrade. Today we created the new HD artwork template in Illustrator – which will make the whole avatar look sharper, and make it easier to see fine details like eye colour and makeup – and created new art layers with the symmetry-fixed new avatar. She has three selectable bum shapes, and her arms and hand position have been tweaked to look more natural.
We're making good progress! Next dev day is tomorrow.
