Saturday pomodoro report

A pomodoro is a 25-minute block of focused work.  I promised to do at least 10 per week when the first funding goal was reached.

Pomodoros I-XI

Nearly finished writing and coding in the Analyst back story.  I've really enjoyed writing and researching it – hope you guys like it when it's in the game!  As I hinted yesterday, these scenes are more serious than sexy; your character's actually doing real intelligence work.  My hope is that sections like this make the sex scenes much hotter when you get to them.  I'll rely on feedback from you guys to let me know if that's right.

Honestly: I really really like the way you're enriching the game. I just wish it didn't take this long :) (IIRC there are key features like the sex engine update and the npc generator still remaining, and they're pivotal if you don't want to have every partner and sex encounter feel the same)

These serious scenes might be alright but I don't think much time should be dedicated to them unless characters involved can also be involved in sexier scenes down the line since the player will have a deeper knowledge and emotional investment in them. It's already taking a long time to develop core features needed before we get to Bangkok, so unless these are necessary I find it hard to be excited about them. A lot of sexy games go too far in fleshing out non-sexual details to try and increase immersion, but your game, in my opinion, already does a great job being immersive. Part of what's great about your game is that it has just enough story to be believable and get you invested, but still let's you get to the sexy times quickly and frequently.
