A pomodoro is a 25-minute block of focused work. I promised to do at least 10 per week when the first funding goal was reached.
Pomodoros I-VIII
Moar Lifepath work. Today we added skills for agents who don't belong to a clique, and also set up functionality for secondary attributes.
Secondary attributes are things like your agent's Strength, Stamina and Creativity: they're affected by your natural psychological and physical traits, but you can improve them by picking up skills. (For example, a tall person is naturally stronger than a short person, but if the short person goes to Crossfit he can become stronger than the tall guy.)
Complex interdependencies between skills like this would slow down a tabletop roleplaying game too much, but the computer can handle these calculations in a nano, and it makes for more nuanced and realistic task resolution. We needed this functionality in place before we could code in the game's first skill roll – which determines whether American & Canadian agents pass cheerleader tryouts.
