Goblin steve asked a simple, but powerful, question: “Roughly, how often do you intend to put out an update?” The frustrating answer is, quicker than I can put them out.
The follow up question to that is “Why?” – or, more practically, “What changes can you make that will allow you to produce content faster?”
As financial backers of the project, you deserve a serious and well thought out answer to that. So I intend to plan out a structured way forward for the project, covering areas such as how to scale up the team, what the next funding targets should be, and how to harness more of the power of the game community (you guys have some brilliant ideas that need to be in the game!).
All of these questions depend on a more fundamental one, however: What game do we want Female Agent to be? I have my own vision of this, of course, but I’d like to hear yours.
What are your hopes and fears for Female Agent? What would be your ideal version of this game? What would keep you playing and replaying it? What do you love about the game so far, and what leaves you cold? What direction do you hope the game won’t take?
What I would like to see is also to see some missions as an agent, financial situations.... I am of course sexuality is

In brief- submissive content, corruption, prostitution, "Bad Ending" scenarios (and possibly even exploring those Bad Ends beyond the GAME OVER screen). I just like the idea of a fresh out of college undercover agent getting in over her head and being swallowed by the underworld.

With inherent reluctance towards degradation and a strong incentive to do her job, a partly self-inflicted downwards spiral from respected agent to whore could unfold in a really hot way. In many corruption games the reason the victim goes along with it seems nebulous and nonsensical but the premise of this game seems perfect for a believable reason, serving her country and the world.

Oh, someone said rivals, but what if she ran into a rival spy, or someone she new from her pre-spy days? That could be a whoring encounter, but it could also be an everyday thing leading to some adventure. Or she's on a mission and can't let on to them and so has to keep them in the dark while accomplishing the mission

I wish she started off more reluctant about the sex, with some user input on why she was selected leading to later events. Ie, when briefed she's told 'we chose you because...' a) you were recommended for this mission, b) we've noticed you have a healthy sexual appetite, c) Our psychologists suggest you would be able to handle this. A) means someone wanted her to be a whore, probably for revenge, or someone wanted her in that city for some other reason; b) she's promiscuous; c) she keeps getting herself into sexual situations so they think her subconscious has desires that would allow her to do the mission. The opening missions should be undertaken with less enjoyment, unless promiscuous, especially the ugly guys. If she annoys her co-workers they get revenge in some ways (in the pick up an ugly guy mission he's horrible, smelly, and rough), with the t-shirt contest she's told to accept if they ask for something (the nude pics). Side-missions sound good, so do body-modifications (piercings, derogatory and suggestive tattoos), possible porn videos, humiliating things she has to put up with. Some daily life management like picking a training regime affects how many blocks of time you have; less time means less time for investigations or less time making money. Less training me deteriorating spy skills. I can't think of things others haven't said.

So far, I really like what I see here and it is precisely through the lyrics that you really get into the game. Otherwise you could just look at a porno. I hope you win one or two good scribes for the later gameplay. Although I have some ideas myself, I can not express them well, as I know that I use an online program for the translations.
I have already used some ideas, which one could perhaps add to the game. A request to be mentioned here would be on the one hand a long duration (in the intro is already covered by several months covert use) linked to the possibility of the game in different ways play. So to promote the replayability.
This could optionally be done with side quests, which you only get if you have met certain requirements. In the minimum, it is now even the unlockable decisions, if you have a skill or not. Only that here every decision leads to the same goal (see Wet Shirt Contest). I think only in a single run did I not end up in first place,
One step towards this is already the optional choice of hypnosis, in the hope that this will be discussed later in the game and influence the plot.

I agree with others that there must be a good amount of story-driven content. I would hate to see the game move to Bangkok and then become a daily grind of stripping followed by sex scenes with three randomly-generated men. Ideally, every day will have something that makes it a little different.
Story-driven content doesn't have to focus on the mission. There could be a lot of things happening in the background. Like supporting characters!
Regulars. I'm sure some of these flabby, rich Westerners enjoying lives of sun and debauchery will decide that the agent is their new favourite girl. Ranging from downright unpleasant brutes to charming old gents, and not forgetting the sweaty pervert who wants to know if the newcomer is dirty enough to do things that make the local girls recoil in disgust.
The rival. Before the agent arrived, another girl was the house favourite, and she is not pleased to see someone else in the spotlight. She's bitchy, she's competitive, and she'll go to extraordinary lengths to see the new girl humiliated.
The owner. The guy who owns the Hard Cock Cafe has some crazy ideas for promoting his business. Unfortunately for the agent, these vary from on-street advertising to Special Events, or even Special Offers. Inspiration strikes, and the owner wants everyone to be just as excited as he is.
The corrupt cop. A classic sleaze ball, this guy could also be trouble. Then again, a clever agent might get the opportunity to turn the tables on him.
I thought the wet t-shirt contest was a perfect example of things I'd like to see in the game. Sleazy and degrading, but with bags of character and a dash of humour, it was brilliantly written.
I think it's also important that not everything is about sex. The game needs downtime. Shopping, the beach, nights off, making friends with the other girls. The agent might meet a girl who is genuinely stuck and can't afford to get home, and can choose whether to help her or not. Perhaps the owner is in debt to some very nasty people, who will take the place over if they don't get their money. Perhaps a rival club owner is planning to put the Cafe out of business. And then a Western documentary film crew arrives on the scene...
Finally, I think it's important that the game has a sense of progression. Whether she's becoming more kinky and uninhibited as time goes on, building relationships with other characters, or collecting a stash of crumpled notes to buy a prestige outfit, the agent must be working towards something. Or, I guess, they could be gathering intelligence about this secretive terrorist group headquartered in Bangkok.
I'm sorry for chucking a bunch of ideas at you. You have your own vision, and I hope I'm not being presumptuous. But I can't clearly explain what I hope to see in my ideal version of the game without giving some examples.

I would like to see a decent amount of branching story where my choices matter. Like Insane I'd also like a good balance between a life sim and those stories. A little more visualisation would also be nice, the art style is what really drew me into this game - so the more of that the better!

A lot of what I was thinking about the direction on the game has already been said.
- Try not to make it repetitive / boring
- More descriptions and diversity to the events etc.
- Good balance of life sim / story
- Maybe more customization later on
So far you have a really good framework in place to expand upon! Keep it up!
Oh and as for what I'd like to see in the game... I like the risk of pregnancy and having to deal with the consequences of that, but I know the agency have that all covered... oh well :P

Idea for replayability: add more simultaneous stories that may influence or be influenced by the main plot and/or each other but can all be simply left alone.<br><br>To give a totally irrelevant example, your main storyline is running messages for Gandalf and Aragorn, hunting down spies of the Shadow, running messages for Elrond and laying a false trail through Dunland and the Gap of Rohan to deceive the enemy's trackers and get them off the Fellowship's trail, but along the way you can help out with an awkward Human-Hobbit love affair, rescue missing Hobbits in the Old Forest, protect a farmer's herd from a hungry wolf pack that's come south due to events unfolding near Angmar, have your portrait painted by Elf artists in Rivendell, learn a craft, escort a merchant caravan or whatever.<br><br>Then if you escorted the caravan you either have cash now or shares in a successful business, if you learned a trade that may be useful once you reach Rohan, how much you endeared yourself to the Hobbits of the Shire and the Men of Bree will affect how easily you recruit your fake Fellowship to lay a fake trail and how good they are at it, the portrait thing will appear in your epilogue <i>if</i> you come back from the war but not if you stay in Gondor and the wolves, well, that's a whole sequel if you head up that way to see what's going on in the haunted north. If you learned medicine, you get to save the lives of some wounded people, but not of anyone hit with a Morgul blade. You can't save them but you <i>can</i> notice that they're "dying" of a wound from which you should have been able to save them, giving you time to find out they're turning into an undead servant of Shadow and take the appropriate action (cut off its head, drive a stake through its heart, stuff the mouth with garlic and burn the lot in separate fires, then scatter one set of ashes in running water and plant a wild rose bush over the other).<br><br>Obviously, hunting a terror financier in Bangkok will have different side-quests, with different overlaps and consequences, but you get the idea, eh?<br><br>What I hope we don't see: breed-breed-breed-have-29-babies; all anal all the time; a blonde-haired, huge-titted, ditzy bimbo with tits the size of beach balls, a brain the size of a walnut and lips like something that eats the algae on the sides of a fish tank being universally considered the sexiest thing ever.

I agree with pretty much all the of the above, and just wanted to add a couple of things: 1) while she should be able to enjoy her first few encounters as a whore in Bangkok, it'd be nice (and immersive!) if she were forced to work past her enjoyment threshold--e.g., she's slutty enough to enjoy getting banged by three different cocks one after another, but job requirements demand she take 6-10 in one day, sort of thing; 2) I've been enjoying the almost uncanny sense that everyone who is supposedly "on her side" is out to corrupt her (for the mission, of course...), and hope to see more of that.

I thought of some more things, several which already has been mentioned:
I hope to see several different endings, depending on player stats and choices (some which can come very late in the game). That the agent can come unscathed from the experience, or come back home albeit more lewd to joining with the terrorist (and either becoming his girlfriend/wife to his slutty bitch), and alternatives between.
I hope to see some further customization with our agent - her getting piercings, tattoos, changing her hairdo and hair colour, while in Bangkok.
It also needs to be reiterated that you must follow your vision as a developer, and not let us Patreons dictate your every design decision. Getting input is important, but like others have mentioned, it's easy to get too many fetishes added where none feels well implemented. Or that we don't get the full picture yet and therefore don't like a particular decision.
And I would also like to add that I personally want the agent to enjoy the fucking, sucking and stripping, so it doesn't turn into a rapefest. And that the stripping involved at the wet t-shirt contest was really great. It feels like too many adult games focus on the actual sex, without thinking about all possible teasing that can be done. That's why I really look forward to her stripping career.

I basically agree with everything people have been saying so far. I honestly feel communication is more important than trying to stick to a strict release schedule. I mean, obviously I want to get Kate wasted and see her take a load to the face RIGHT NOW, but just knowing that stuff is coming is good enough for me. Some creators feel that they shouldn't bother making a patreon post without something to show off, but when you get to the end of the month and realize just how much all your patronage adds up to and want to cull the list a bit, when you check and see that a creator hasn't posted anything in 3 weeks it makes it a lot easier to take a break from supporting them. The FA communication is fantastic, so you're already doing great there!
As for replayability, I think meaningful choice is the most important factor. Not necessarily in the story even, just having a couple of lines change in a scene based on your Kate's personality can do wonders. FA is already off to a great start with the ability to customize your agent, both physically and psychologically. Keep this up and there will be tons of replayability, just to see how a single choice will change things. Personally I think it would be fun to have some options for Kate to just not be a very good spy (loved being able to freeze up trying to decide which way to put the phone down!) without it leading to a game over.
I also agree with the fear that the sex scenes could get stale, but the prostitution angle should inherently limit some of Kate's options based on what her clients are paying for. Make her be a bit more reactive instead of proactive a lot of the time. As has already been said, the balcony fuck is a great example of modifying the basic sex scenes.
For what I love about the game, honestly everything. This is literally a game I'd been mulling over in my head for years now, originally as a possible sequel to the Lesson of Passion game Agent 069. It was just going to be set in Budapest and you were taking down a Russian mafia boss, but the rest is the same.
My hopes are fairly vague: addiction, tattoos, just filth in general.
Oh, and the ability to chart what Kate likes sexually as opposed to just her sexual experience. For example after her first anal you could have something like "...and deep down Kate had to admit: A) She kind of liked it B) She hated it" and then that choice will inform her feelings about anal going forward. I dunno, maybe something more nuanced? Most games just conflate the two, and I think this could add a ton of replayability.
I also posted this in the community section but I don't think that really gets used: is there a way to see all the names currently in the game for adding more?

Hopes:That it will have a plethora of options and branching paths, from 'all in and willing', to a 'reluctant but dirty' to 'utter failed'. Maybe an option to go rogue and join the organization... and that it has lots of replay-ability. Oh and mention of consequences even if they're minor. Oh and if all turns out well, a save character feature so that if you finish this game and start up another one you can import and it becomes sort of a 'Smutty female james bond' series ;)
Minor Hopes:Tattoos, piercings, plastic surgery~, lots of lesbian stuff.
What would keep me playing:Choices and character customization. Beyond the start even (see minor hopes)
Not sure what to say on the 'don't want/like' questions as the stuff you have is good and the options that are previewed but not in yet seem good to me (ethnicity is something we'll get to choose later right?).

I think you're saying this, but maybe the trick to keep the sex engine less than boring, is to mix in semi-random person/situation specific things into the options. That way, you can have a situation that seems very samey – as I imagine whoring could become – suddenly interspersed with something different.
The trick is to keep it in the same engine/interface, so it isn't suddenly some weird cut-scene, but it still changes the act.
edit: Come to think of it, there's a minor example of that already in FA. The sex with the weapons dealer has a whole "getting fucked over the balcony" sequence. More like that.

I’ll largely echo everything that Breadloaf said above, but with a few further points.
Firstly I’d preface this with the fact that I think you’re doing an exceptional job at the moment in terms of providing updates. Even though they’re not detailed, the Pomodoro reports will be great for assuaging any fears that development has slowed or stopped in the future. I also respect you asking this question of your backers so early, but be careful of listening to *everything* that people suggest – remember that if Henry Ford canvassed people on whether or not he should build a motor car, they’d probably tell him what they really wanted was a faster horse.
I think you need to make sure that the core engine for sex scenes is very robust; NewLife did it very well, but unfortunately a random system can also feel very impersonal once you’ve spent enough time with it. I think that’s an issue with gaming in general at the moment. I absolutely agree with Breadloaf that you should try to have a good dose of scripted scenes interspersed within the plot. NewLife feels very randomly generated from the get-go, and I think that’s best avoided.
I love that you’re making hypno optional, and think that would a good thing to do with other fetishes in the future. Be careful about taking on too many fetishes into the game, as each one will end up under-developed (jack of all trades ish).
My ideal version of the game would have that part-scripted-part-crafted core engine for sex scenes, with a crafted plot to guide it. There would continue to be a focus on player agency & writing.
Overall you are absolutely on the right track at the moment. Keep on doing what you’re doing, beware too much randomly generated content and don’t burn yourself out! :)

What do I expect? Honestly, very little. Do good work. Do it at rate that makes me feel I'm getting value for money (this spot is different for everyone, and pretty much impossible to quantify without empirical measurements). Communicate. Deliver on a vision that excites me.
So far, you're hitting all the major expectations. As I mentioned elsewhere, I hope you don't get too lost in the "X wants this fetish included" treadmill that has bogged down some great games. (Heck, the grand master of this stuff, Fenoxo, had long periods where his games kept expanding, but never went anywhere). That doesn't mean exclude everything, but don't get stuck in a 'I have to please everyone' loop. Having a plan is a good way to handle that.
His communication might be a bit weird, but ThaumX is a great example of someone who has pretty much sold his plan to his backers, and slowly the details of his plans, is able to keep people on board while producing very little visible game. (He's doing the system first before moving on to content, allegedly.)
Now that I've said all that, there is one thing I would love added to in the game (hypocrite? Me? Never!) I'm a firm believer in consequences. And, assuming you the agent plays the whore for however long, I'd love to live with the effects at the end a little. Usually this means different ending posts, but it might be fun to do the Witcher 3-esque retrospective, where you come back to places that are mostly the same, but you've changed. In the context of what we know, that would mean going back to Scotland after the mission and doing a few days "debriefing" with trips out to familiar clubs.
Anyway, keep up the good work.

Story needs to drive it forward as otherwise like Breadloaf mentioned it will get repetitive fast and the foundation is there with the prologue.
Other than that there are of course events which can be randomized increasing her corruption level for instance but customization and having every event feel non-generic would be a plus.
The more diversity in events the better and with the new engines that should be doable although writing every event text would take a bit more time.

You already have your key basic elements for your story, you have your heroine and your villain, We know where the villain will be just not when. So the heroine's journey in this instance is one in time rather than space.

When I discover a promising project on Patreon I always fear that it will fizzle out. You're already doing your best at diminishing this fear by writing regular update posts, but it would be even better if you posted a rough estimate on when the next update will arrive. When you realize that your estimate is off, just delay the update. Personally I always feel better about a project when there's a time schedule, even if it's revised every now and then instead of having a "when it's ready" approach.
That's my fears about the project as a whole. The only thing that I'm a bit worried about about the gameplay is that it will turn out to be a boring grind to move on in the main story, and that the sex scenes will be repetitive and boring. This game seems to be somewhat inspired by Newlife, which was initially very promising. But after replaying I thought that the sex scenes was too boring, which I think is because they are a bit too randomly generated. I made a short thought experiment in Twine to see if a similar system could be made better with some effort - I can send it to you if you wish, considering that I will never use it.
So far I really like the customization in Female Agent, even when it doesn't change the plot in any significant way. Hair colour, name, nationality, breast size and so on. I also like the choices you can do in the story so far. A very nice balance between impact on the story and not diverging the story too much.
The avatar art and the dress up part further makes the story a bit unique for every time you play it, even if it doesn't alter the plot. All this is very nice fluff that makes the character feel like your own, instead of just a random character.
Personally, I hope that Female Agent will be a nice mix of life simulator aspects (a bit similar to Newlife) and story. Some sex scenes and stripping acts should be scripted, while others should be randomly generated (the sim aspect). I also hope that we can further dress up our agent and so on in order to further make the character our own and to increase replayability.
I can elaborate even more, but I guess this is enough...
