Moving to Tweego
Added 2018-03-05 23:33:40 +0000 UTCFemale Agent was built in the default Twine app, which is so user friendly and accessible that it's a brilliant cradle for ideas.
Now the game has more than 28,000 lines of code and 120,000 words, though, it's time to leave the cradle. This week I migrated to Tweego, a command line compiler that's better suited to handling big, complex projects.
I'm already really enjoying the increased speed of editing and the advantages of having the whole game on one screen (rather than spread across hundreds of different passages).
Moving the coding to this more powerful tool should speed up development and make bug fixing easier in future.
