Patreon Changes Coming (again...)

I recently received an email from Warner Bros - as a result, I have to  make changes to  Patreon.  These changes will impact all tiers. I apologize for this, but  I need to make sure I'm in compliance with Warner Bros' wishes.  I am  also going to make changes to the $30 and $50 tiers in order to keep  things running smoothly.  It's been increasingly difficult to keep up  with the monthly creations for you guys, but I have an alternative that I  think you'll like! I've outlined the changes to each tier below.  Please vote in this poll so I can get an idea of how these changes may effect things and let me know if you have alternative suggestions.

First: I am going to have to remove Harry Potter movie replica designs from being behind the Patreon paywall. This does not mean that the designs are disappearing - they will still be available one way or another.

Second: I am trying to find a way to acquire a license from Warner Brothers.  This is a hefty $30-$100k fee per year and Just having the money doesn't guarantee a license.  Warner Bros has to evaluate my application and accept or reject it.  My current plan is to start a GoFundMe (or similar) campaign. If enough people pitch in a few dollars I think we can raise the money for a license.  On the other hand, since a license isn't guaranteed, there are ways to "borrow" the license of a company who already has one.  This would mean that I would have to sell my templates individually and the licensed company I partner with would get a cut of each sale.  Let me know your thoughts.

Third: I am going to lean more into my original designs on Patreon. Like, they will be exclusively on Patreon (and Etsy). This includes the Practical Pocket Book of Spells, Herbology Book, Magical ID Card, and all of my original stuff going forward.  I have tons of ideas and I'm working on about three simultaneously right now.  I will go more into this another time - but I have created my own magical world that complements the world of Harry Potter - without infringing on any trademarks or copyrights.  My world is rich with characters, plot lines, villains and heroes, and locations; including my own dreamed up witch and wizard university (basically to further your magical education).  Anyway, I will get into all of this later - in much more detail - but I've been dreaming this story and world up for the past 5-6 years.

Muggles

$1 or more per month

Muggles get:

• Access to my most recently released template  (Original Work Only) as well as a selection of past templates which may change  month by month.
• Polls for which projects I work on next  
• Your name at the end of my YouTube videos

Witches and Wizards

$3 or more per month

Witches and Wizards get access to all lower tier rewards plus:

• Access to my four most recent templates  (Original Work Only) as well as a selection of past templates which may change  month by month.
• Editable Photoshop templates for specific projects

Hogwarts Students

$5 or more per month

Hogwarts Students get access to all lower tier rewards plus:

• Access to ALL templates  (Original Work Only)
• Access to "Design Packs" full of resources I’ve used to make my projects (Original Work AND Replicas), such as:
• Photoshop brushes
• Photoshop shapes
• Logos
• Fonts
• Textures
• And more

Hogwarts Alumni

$10 or more per month

Hogwarts Alumni get access to all lower tier rewards plus:

• You can send me your designs to be featured in upcoming DIYs on my YouTube channel with a shout out to you and links to your  website/social media page(s).  
• Free shipping on Etsy orders (within the US only).  To take advantage f free shipping, send me a message on Etsy with your Patreon username.

Note:  All design submissions will be featured on my YouTube channel, however some may not get a dedicated video depending on how many submissions I receive.

Hogwarts Professors

$30 or more per month

Hogwarts Professors get access to all lower tier rewards plus:

• Any time I create a Mystery Box, I will send one to you.  My mystery box on Etsy is quarterly.  On YouTube, I also create a special mystery box to give away every 10k subscribers.  You will receive both of these!

Hogwarts Headmaster/Headmistress

$50 or more per month

Hogwarts Professors get access to all lower tier rewards plus:

• You get to choose one DIY project for me to make each month for my YouTube channel. (Be nice, I can't make a full-scale Hogwarts Castle...)
