As a new pledger, I wasn't quite sure what to expect to see in a months time. I'm a professed mermaholic, so I was a little disappointed to really only see 1 colored piece (in SFW/NSWF) for my tier at the end. I was hoping to see some more B&W sketches/doodles along with the theme too. I love your art so I was excited to see you do more drawings of my favorite subject, hopefully you will give this theme another go sometime. (alternatively, if you're feeling stressed or uninspired, why force yourself into themes? just draw what you like. if you give a theme to each month i feel like you are more likely to see one-off subscriptions with people looking only for specific content.) I haven't changed my pledge because I feel that would be rude, but I thought I would communicate this feedback too. Setting expectations is good!

2020-01-03 08:47:48 +0000 UTCThis is my second month being your patron, and I found you through Twitter (I like your art style) :) Patreon pledges predicate upon expectations. I would recommend you adjust the pledge tiers to align with your current/future art output and style. For example, I was surprised when I first pledged to find out that your Patreon primarily consists of inked B&W art, which you then sell. While this is not in the pledge descriptions, I think it would be good to add (so that people realize that they get exclusive access to buying your physical art). Also, perhaps you can set a goal for yourself with how many colored art pieces you will release on Patreon per month, and then write that down in the pledge descriptions. This way someone know your expectation (e.g. you made 2 unique colored mermaids in December, and a couple variations on the second mermaid picture, both SFW & NSFW). While this may change how many people pledge, you will attract those who are likely to accept and have expectations you can meet each month --- so they'll stay pledged. :) Another trick I have found by observing multiple Patreons, is to have a monthly art pack (that can only be accessed if pledged that month). For example, you mentioned that January will be demons! Now you can show the sketch WIPs, but will only release the final, stash links & hi-res PinUps to those who have pledged. This will create urgency for those who want to pledge a tier, and also keeps people from deciding that they can just leave and come back in 6 months to download from your previous posts. (I just saw that you kind of already do what I just described....lol. but you can have a special post each month advertising the artpack. which you could then post on your social media as an advertisement to pledge to your Patreon) While I was long-winded, I hope these ideas & feedback helps. :)

2020-01-02 18:47:02 +0000 UTCI don’t want to make anyone feel bad about it! It’s normal to lose a few people there were just so many more than usual this time it seemed like it’s to do with my art x) but it is a financially tricky time of year

2020-01-02 09:21:12 +0000 UTCSorry I had to lower my pledge. Times are hard actually and I need to be more careful. But I'm still here, and I just want to watch you doing what you love the most. Especially if it's about catgirls, but you know, this is another story... Héhé ! Don't depreciate yourself, your art is awesome. I wish you a lot of happiness for this new year.

2020-01-02 08:40:25 +0000 UTCDon't beat yourself up over it too much, people's financial situations change all the time. Fwiw, you do great stuff on here and a bunch too.

2020-01-01 22:50:01 +0000 UTCSorry to hear that, I think your art is beautiful! I haven't changed mine at all and don't plan to, but I'll volunteer that I'd be interested in line art to use as coloring pages if you'd be interested in doing that. Many blessings for the new year!
