⛏️ARCHAEOLOGY CAREER⛏️

Hi everyone, hope 2019 is treating you well so far! With the kind permission of MissyHissy, I’ve converted her Archaeology Career to The Sims 4!

You can use MC Command Center to promote your Sim (From a computer in-game, click Cheats>Career>Promote), OR if you have UI Cheats Extension you can right click on a job icon in the career panel to promote or demote your Sim, OR the cheat below if you don’t want to complete the objectives.

To pause a level, and keep your current job title, and have MC Command Center, you can “freeze career” under Sim Flags.

Cheats available: CAREERS.PROMOTE ARCHAEOLOGY

There are 10 levels available;

  1. Volunteer
The local Archaeological Society is recruiting volunteers and {0.SimName} is one of them. After an important dig, the archaeologists are looking for helpers with sorting through the new finds and writing up the reports on them. There’s no pay but if {0.SimFirstName} enjoys the work, {M0.he}{F0.she} may find a job opportunity will arise.
  2. Archaeology Student
{0.SimName}’s enthusiasm as a volunteer was noticed and an official from within the Society recommended {M0.him}{F0.her} for the Archaeology course at the University. So as a student, {M0.he}{F0.she} is going to be working and studying from within the Society and gaining their qualification. As long as {0.SimFirstName} studies the journals provided on the course, that degree won’t be far away!
  3. Carbon Dater
Having obtained a degree in Archaeology, {0.SimName}’s first job is to start dating the finds from the experienced archaeologists and feeding the information onto the system. In between jobs, there could be some opportunities to travel with the archaeologists to the locations to really see what the job entails. But all in good time!
  4. Excavator
By keeping up to date with the latest archaeological finds, digs and seminars, {0.SimName} has finally been invited on his first official dig! Suddenly, all those summer months digging in the sand as a child make sense when {0.SimFirstName} is enjoying gently sweeping sand away from precious artifacts.
  5. Analyst
When the sand gets a bit too much, {0.SimName} can now retreat to the computer systems and assist with analysing the artifacts brought in from the digs. Extensive knowledge of artifacts and the history of the present dig location will be of the utmost importance if {0.SimFirstName} is going to show any degree of competency in this job.
  6. Tomb Explorer
With the experience {0.SimFirstName} has gained in this career to date, {M0.he}{F0.she} has finally earned the prestige of becoming a Tomb Explorer. It’s quite a dusty avenue but a profitable one. The Archaeological Society has learned of several presently undiscovered tombs across the globe and pretty soon, {0.SimFirstName} will be one of the first to enter them!
  7. Excavation Site Manager
With several incredible discoveries to {0.SimName}’s name, a new job title has become available, as the site manager for a series of important digs in a brand new location. The press will be very interested in the progress of these digs and {0.SimFirstName} had better brush up on {M0.his}{F0.her} charisma skills because there’s going to be some interviewing soon!
  8. Digital Reconstructor
When new artifacts are discovered, they’re not always in the best state of repair. So when investigations take place, {0.SimFirstName} may be called upon to assist by reconstructing the artifacts using the most up-to-date technology available. This well-paid position is an incredible opportunity to delve into the ancient pasts and discover what the world really looked like 3,000 years ago.
  9. Archaeology Professor
After a successful career at the front of the dig sites, {0.SimFirstName} has chosen to pass on {M0.his}{F0.her} incredible knowledge to the keen and probing minds of the younger generation; those who are desperate to learn all that they can about the skill and craftsmanship involved in a career in Archaeology. Enjoy those classroom years from the other side, Professor {0.SimLastName}!
  10. Head of Antiquities
The best position in the Archaeological Society is the Head of Antiquities and {0.SimFirstName} has acquired that very position. Whenever there’s a new archaeological discovery within the society, {0.SimFirstName}’s name will be expected to appear in the press releases and interviews.

You’ll work on a few different skills, but if you don’t want to do these, you can just right-click on them in the career panel to complete them, if you have the UI Cheats Extension Mod (see above) installed.

To install, extract all the files in the zip directly to your Mods folder. Full instructions for installing CC can be found HERE
