I'm finding it helpful to work on several pages at the same time so I can jump around if I get stuck on a particular pose or panel.
Got the panels planned out and partially inked, but I'm still figuring out the text and backgrounds.
I wanted to give Penny's first appearance some gratuitously dramatic curves... did I overdo it making her this caked up? I might tone it down a little, we'll see •ᴗ•
then she slams down her mug and calls for another round:

Dialogue TBD as Penny talks to Ploppy, the Dwarven proprietor of the Salty Stalactite Saloon.
Suddenly, the door opens, and a shapely human figure enters the tavern.
Closer look at Thessaly, BTW – she isn't supposed to be super tall, the door frame is just small because its a Dwarven tavern, that will be more clear when the background details are drawn.
The last panel of the page will show a full view of the tavern, as Penny and Thorny size each other up from across the room.
