October Releases

Hey everyone, hope you're all doing okay.

So, I was a little unsure about which short stories to post this month. After some consideration, I decided to the first two stories of mine that were ever accepted by editores. These were the stories that told me: Would you look at that? Maybe I can do this. 

Again and Again was accepted in the anthology Beautiful Lies, Painful Truths Vol. 1 published by Left Hand Publishers. Everyone involved in the creation of this anthology are amazing people. They made me feel at ease and were always helpful and ready to answer any questions I had. For someone publishing for the first time, it was a relief to know that they were there for me. 

Ten Minutes was accepted by Radix Media for the anthology Aftermath. For those that are interested in exploring grief in all its forms, this is a beautiful book for you to read. It has a collection of beautifully written stories and amazing art. I could hardly believe they had accepted my story to join such amazing works. 

I will always be grateful for the opportunity they gave me.

Again and Again

Ottavio had made up his mind. It would be hard leaving everything he had ever known behind, but he knew he had no other choice. His family couldn’t—wouldn’t—accept him, and he could no longer live like that.

Still, even though he knew that life in New York would be fundamentally different from his life in Rome, nothing could have prepared him for the reality of it.

It seemed his family had been right all along—Hell had a special place reserved just for him.

Ten Minutes

Ten minutes. Nick had never thought that ten minutes would be so earth-shattering. Well, not that anyone would blame him, really. Ten minutes, in the grand scheme of things, didn't seem like much at all. If he had known, maybe he would have valued all those ten minutes that came before differently.
