Commission #5 | Nicole's Casual Attire
Added 2020-02-18 21:15:57 +0000 UTCMany thanks to longtime patron Jason for commissioning yet another pinup of his OC Nicole the Valkyrie! So far we've always seen Nicole rocking her Valkyrie team outfit, so this one is an attempt to capture her casual side.

Commission #1: Nicole the Valkyrie Pinup
The original plan for this scene was going to be a full-page B&W layout, featuring a second character and a background. Along the way we decided to save that idea for a future comic or perhaps a GIF animation, and switched to finishing this one as a full color pinup with no background.

As a final shading step I tried adding a second source of directional lighting from a different angle. It's my first time experimenting with this technique but I think it adds a nice little pop to the curves. Certainly something I'll keep practicing!
