Shadows in St. Mungo's: The Mind Burns Last - Thank You
Added 2025-05-04 15:00:12 +0000 UTCHey friends,
Thank you — truly — for being here.
The Mind Burns Last was a strange, heavy, personal story to write. It came from a place of burnout and reflection, and I honestly wasn’t sure anyone would want to follow a version of Harry who’s broken, paranoid, and unraveling one memory at a time. But you did. You stayed. You let me take my time.
Your support here — emotional, financial, creative — is the reason this story got rewritten and didn’t vanish into some abandoned document like so many others. Every month you stayed gave me permission to dig deeper. Every kind message reminded me that there’s room for slow storytelling — even when it’s dark, even when it’s hard.
If you’re reading this, it means you cared enough to show up not just for the story, but for the messy, human process behind it. That means more than I can say.
Book 2 (The Secrets of Avalon) is where the story sharpens — not cleaner, but clearer. Fewer spirals, more answers. I’m so excited (and a little scared) to show you what comes next.
From the bottom of my tired, grateful heart — thank you.
The Writer.
