IT'S. FINALLY. DONE.
This chapter ended up being waaaaaay more work than I'd expected. I'd originally planned for the politicking to go much more in-depth, too, but decided that it just... wasn't working, and didn't match the story I'd been telling.
That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.
Anyway! The chapter is a whopper, just shy of 20k words. The next one will not be. I've already written about a third of it, but it's mostly just tying up loose ends in Ylisstol before the story moves back north. When will it be done? No idea. But hopefully it won't take a damn year this time...
