November Update | Re: All The Things!

Greetings friends and futa fans! I'm bursting at the seams with excitement about all the awesome projects I've been able to take on lately thanks to your generous support. The biggest news is that I'm now creating on Patreon FULL TIME for at least the rest of this year, and hopefully longer! Earlier this year I quit one of my part-time jobs, which enabled me to start the daily sketches, cleaning up and posting unfinished pieces from my sketch pile that otherwise  would never have seen the light of day. I'm now overjoyed to say I've been able to quit the other part-time job, opening up a world of possibilities! My income from Patreon is now paying my rent, which is a milestone that makes a huge difference in my life, and I'm eternally grateful that your support enabled me to get out of a time-sink of a job that I really wasn't enjoying. It's not quite long-term sustainable yet, as I can't cover my living expenses indefinitely at the current amount, but it's enough to give me a decent runway and produce a fuck-ton of content before I have to slow it down and get a "real job" again :P

The Daily Sketches are taking up a good portion of my art time right now, about 40% of it, but I'll only be keeping that up until the end of the year. Starting January 1st, I'll be beginning a new project and putting the time currently going towards the daily sketches into that new project. The purpose of the daily sketches was to clear out my backlog, and give myself some more coloring practice working fast and loose. A few months ago it was taking me about 2-4 hours to do the linework and 4-6 hours to color a single picture. Now I'm down to about 1 hour for linework and 2 hours for color, but still have a lot of room to improve. I'm looking forward to putting all this practice to work on a bigger project like an ongoing webcomic, where you'll see a new panel continuing the story every day. As we get closer to the end of the year, you'll all get to vote on exactly what that new project is!

So what else is going on? I've got several irons in the fire rolling over from October, all of which will be hammered into shape and beaten to a polished finish before the end of November:

Valkyrie of the Commissioned Quill #1: The first person to grab an open commission slot for October was longtime patron Naavi, who is a fan of the Size Check concept. We've been brainstorming a third installment in the Size Check series with all new characters. Size Check 3 will feature similar themes, with fun new situations, locations, characters, and ways of measuring superiority. Coming out shortly after the conclusion of Size Check 2, you'll all have Naavi to thank for an extra naughty story to read this month!

Valkyrie of the Commissioned Quill #2: The day I opened up the commission slot, Patreon had some billing issues that prevented another patron, Jason White, from grabbing the spot, so I felt it was only fair to take on a second commission. Jason (along with Kathy Dettwiller) is one of the original creators of the Valkyrie super-futa team concept. I've enjoyed drawing a handful of the Valkyries they've created, as well as throwing a few submissions of my own into the ring: Ashley and Syphon. For the commission, I'll be drawing one of Jason's characters, the massive Valkyrie Nicole, Codename: Titan. She's going to be the biggest I've ever drawn, in pretty much every category! Brace for impact mid-November!

Lindsey's She-Hulk Cosplay In Color: I'm working on coloring all the variations of this one, but the size, detail, and all the layers are taking longer than usual, and I didn't want to jam up the pipeline for too long dwelling on it. After the first two commissions are out, you'll be seeing this in color!

The two commissions are roll-overs from October, so I'm not counting those as filled timeslots for November. I'm also not holding a vote to decide on a timeslot this month, due to the number of open projects I need to clear out of the pipeline. So here's what November is going to look like:

Size Check 2: The Showdown – The first 30 pages of this story were released in October, with a poll at the end for readers to decide what happens next. I won't spoil the surprise by telling you the results of the vote now, you'll have to read the conclusion to find out! Enough votes have been cast for me to see what the majority of you want to read, so I'm getting to work writing it now.

Valkyrie of the Commissioned Quill #3: Jason White has purchased another commission slot for November, we haven't decided on the subject yet, but you can expect more Valkyries in one shape or another, possibly an animation!

The Oath of Unreal Gains: Always a popular pick, this month Knights will cast a vote to decide which character to upgrade. If you have requests for which characters or pictures you want to see upgraded, leave a comment on this post this weekend, and I'll include it as an option to be voted on, starting Monday.

The Oath of Sexy Cosplay: The runner up to the costume vote last month was Poison Ivy, and I thought it would make a great couples-costume with Becca as Harley Quinn... so that's what I'm drawing, who cares if it's already past Halloween! You're getting it!

On top of that, I'll still be posting a daily sketch in color all November long! Buckle up friends, it's gonna be a big month! Thank you for making it possible!!!
